So does anybody think that the disastrous Xbox quarterly results put some huge outside pressure on xbox for heads to roll? I think it may have.

Also didn't Phil say he was going to stay till at least the new xbox release?
 
No. So long as 3rd party keeps going strong, then I'll buy a PS. I simply won't buy their woke trash for the PS6, just as I haven't this generation outside of Horizon: Forbidden West. My PS6 will just remain a platform to easily play games I want to support that doesn't involve the feminist garbage PS studios like to push.
 
Both have done a good job boring the shit out of me this gen, wasting their resources on crap I couldn't care less about.

Game Pass before the price increase was good value, but I never needed an Xbox for that. This gen I've barely played either platform, and next-gen I doubt I'll get either box even.

Where is the hell no option? Why would anyone in their right mind move to Xbox over one studio closing? 👀 Not to say that it was terrible because those people have families, however Microsoft and Xbox has closed/laid off 100 times more people than that in the last year lol and then hires an A.I person to run it's gaming division.

Make a thread about asking mfs to jump off the Xbox sinking ship(well what's left) 😂

Insomniac is working on 2 single player games. Sony Santa Monica is working on 2 games: one is a single player game (GOW remake) and Cory's game. Probably another GOW game or at least a single player game. Naughty Dog is working on a single player game. Polyphony is working on a Gran Turismo 8 for sure. Sony Bend cancelled their live game and are working on a single player game. Sucker Punch just released a single player game. Housemarque? Single player game. Kojima's game as far as i know won't be a live game as well.

It seems like Guerrilla, Firesprite, Haven, Bungie and San Diego (MLB) are the only ones working on live games? Did i miss something?

Most live games from Sony seem to be collaborations with other studios like Tokon, Helldivers 2, etc.

I think i just mentioned facts and studios that used to be doing live games like Bend, Insomniac etc were all cancelled. Some like Guerrila are doing it. But seems far from the norm for Sony's internal studios.

I cant disagree with nothing that you posted, but its impossible right now to convince me in the same week they show that dogshit woke gaas horizon game and closes the studio that made one of my favorite games this gen.

And Bend ? ... lol.. lets wait...
 
That would make no sense. They both suck in terms of strategic descision making. But with a PlayStation I get to play both ps exclusives as well as all of the Microsoft stuff. So why should I switch to Xbox?
 
The situation is not much better at xbox. Luckily for me I like indies and AA games so wherever I go I'll be fine. A good AAA game is rare nowadays, and is a bonus.

The only ones really getting the short end of the stick are Nintendo fans: outdated online infrastructure, underpowered hardware, fewer true physical releases, and now $80 price tags on games, fewer AAA games, one dimensional exclusives....etc

Kinda funny and sad at the same time.

Who is "we"? I'm getting them too. Doesn't mean I have to say to Sony: "thank you, sir, may I please have another?". And what's with this obsession with modernism? Most modern games suck ass, with only a select few actually being good, fun and unique.

Don't be mad because I expose companies for their bullshit.

It means fuck all to players because most "gamers" just bitch endlessly online and then shell out their money to the next game at full price anyway. You can't do much when the consumer base will gleefully bend over and take it whenever an opportunity presents itself. These companies will continue to exploit that till the money stops coming in.

They will always follow the money. Gamers need to learn to vote with their wallets. Nobody ever said it was noble.
 
I wish Sony had more first party games. But as long as games keep coming out on ps5, I don't see any reason to switch. Third party support would have to stop for that to happen.

Agreed I just have no reason to switch. With Xbox games coming over it would just be dumb to switch at this point. The only other option is PC and I gave it a shot but my god is it an annoying ecosystem to be in. I'm glad prices are sky rocketing now so I can start to sell off some of my other parts that weren't worth putting and shipping off ebay. Now I can get a decent amount from my RAM and SSD.
