They have somewhat of a split but leaning towards Leon. Leon has all the bombastic moments, majority of bosses, and dominates the story with Grace taking a back seat for the last 5 hours.

From what I saw on some reviews, the plot is highly non-sensical like most RE games, and it doesn't hit some of the highs of RE2 or RE4 Remakes.

RE4Re was supposedly 15+ hours long and yet it took me about 30+ to finish it on hard on my 1st playthrough.

These short playing times mentioned are either : A) people that rush through games on easy or normal and B) in-game clock not counting reloaded sections/deaths/attempts etc etc.

Heck, people said that RE3 Remake was 5 hours long and yet, it took me about 12 hours to finish (in game clock showed less though).

Same with Cronos the new dawn, took me about 25 hours on my 1st playthrough on hard (another game which was supposedly very short).

People should always take media talking about duration with a grain of salt.

The unskilled activists have a limited time to finish games and write their review, they don't play like normal gamers.

It's the France's french that is the funny accent. Quebec's french is closer to the original roots pre-revolution. France diverted big time. Now when I hear a man from France speak I can't help but imagine they are gay. It's so fucking weakass sounding.

Possible. But they did say it was 50/50 for the first half and the second half is dominated by Leon as it gets pretty action heavy.

I guess I'm fine with that. It does make sense to ramp up pacing as the story progresses

Skillup confirmed this. Actual clock time was close to 15 hours, but game showed 10.5.

RE Engine is GOAT.

Maybe it works fine in the Resident Evil games, but in open environments like in MHW this engine just sucks.

Good thing mostly RE fans don't really care much about the plot. It has to be at least entertaining. I for one liked RE6 simply for the combat.
