Really good run tonight of playing with randoms with mics and completing multi-step contracts. Also, I am pretty sure the game tries to connect players with the same contract. I was paired with 4 players tonight with same contract as me

I'm really loving Rook runs, there is an extra level of eeriness where you will enter a game and many runners have already been eliminated, finding corpses to and fro, rummaging through unwanted loot, I'll take it. Not to mention waiting until very end to exfil, most teams are already gone, Guarded Exfil generally avoided, easy as pie with Rook's hologram ability.
And of course taking down a runner with your starting pistol is always super satisfying. Failed runs are a lot more palatable too, tap SQUARE quickly 6 times and I'm insta-loading into the next match

I usually always take the final exfil after time has fully expired as the rook. I don't think most players know about it. I've only ran into one player on a Guarded Exfil during the last 2 minutes and I killed him lol. But yes, don't think many know about the "secret" exfil, only just discovered it myself yesterday.

You only got 1 free kit per day back in the october beta. They should go back to that system imo now that we have a rook. Unlimited free kit and rook is just too good

That makes sense. There is reason to keep game more accessible, knife only runs would turn many people away. But now Rook feels like extra challenge mode vs free kit.

You can't do contracts as Rook. Not the main ones anyway.

Can't do *any* contracts with Rook and I'd say the game is unforgiving enough as is, if you want the community to grow and entice new players you've got to give somewhere, not everyone is a masochist like me or others on this forum lol, I think the system is fine as is.

Can´t wait till they double the distance(10m->20m) where quest markers appear. Some are really hard to find within the current 10m.

Run with your knife. Going from one end of the map to the other is super fast that way.
I wonder when they will patch the Halo'esque bunnyhopping during sprint though. You make much less noise that way and your heat build up isn't affected either. Seems a bit OP atm.

Disable crossplay. PS players are trash at this game. My kills went up drastically once I did. Everyone is much slower.

This doesn't even make sense. If PS players are "trash" and you disable crossplay then you would be facing less "trash" players.
On a similar note props to the devs for having Crossplay options for each Console and PC as opposed to simply Crossplay with all or not.

Had a bunch of great matches with randos recently. Last night two teammates got taken down by a stealthy Triage that I think was lingering after we killed the other two runners. I quickly found him, lit him up, and then melee'd him to take him out. It felt like ancient instinctual Halo tech coming back into play. They were very grateful and we evacuated with no issues either.
I hate that I haven't been able to play as much as I want, but man, it's been a lot of fun. I've already had so many memorable experiences and it's all in Perimeter.
I'm trying to take my time with everything as much as I can, I figure when my objectives start pushing for me to go to other zones, then I'll do that. Or I'll wait until I hit 20 to move on if it doesn't happen sooner.
