I should be on again, perhaps we'll get lucky and rope in another GAF user instead of relying on randoms.

I was stalking an extract that had just been popped, was just about to open up then the dude got jumped by a third. Pew pewed them both. Sweating by balls off trying to loot them in the wide open while the extract was ready to go 20 meters away.
Yup. I started playing with randoms two nights ago. The rats were out in full force on Sunday. And by rats, I mean the spawn camping kind. It was worse than Stella Montis.

Was just typing up something similar. I do like playing solo but my god, it is stressful. I can't always keep at it for too long. A lot of solo encounters are over in a flash without much chance for repositioning and ability usage. Still prefer trio play, which will only get better and better as we all improve. More interesting fights, tactics, coordination, plus makes tackling the tougher POIs/bosses/contracts much easier. A little less constant stress. You can tell it was the original intent.
Yeah. Its gone the opposite way to what I thought it was going to go. Thought I would be mainly solo after the test but Trio's is so much fun with a decent squad. I've been free kitting then adding cool randoms to my list so when my pals or you guys aren't on so I can usually find someone to run with.

I haven't joined it yet but apparently there is a dadsformarathon discord server use for people looking for squads who are adults with limited time. I'll probably join it eventually. I want to have a good amount of friends to always have a crew.
That's where I'm at. I feel like official servers are heavily moderated in ways that often don't make any sense. So, I'll just linger for news/updates, and goodies, lol.

Right? It's wild how much of a different vibe it is. This morning I had a quick solo run and was sneaking around looting on Perimeter, and got another Recon doing the same, lol. I was going to knife them, but decided to not risk too much and started shooting. I clearly scared the shit out of them because they looked around all fast and crazy as soon as I started blasting, lol.
I had the gold mod for it that fires five bullets at once, it was fucking insane. Instantly deleted people at range.
Go to the pvp hotspots on any map as a rook. You can usually pick up the leftovers of a few battles if you are lucky.
Feels really good even with only green mods.
Caught me way off guard but i enjoyed the drinkable cheeseburger CEO message. There is a surprising flexibility to THIS marathons(26) timeline/lore/storydrip that kinda does a good job of fitting it into/around the supposed timeline of events of the originals that ends up being foundational to the reason this marathon is centered around players being shells/runners. Tons of good stuff this game is doing for me that destiny never came close to.

Had dentist fun today too.Well boys, yesterday my broken tooth really started to hurt and then last night I awoke to some of the most intense pain in the bottom right of my mouth. Currently on an antibiotic and pain meds until I can get it extracted + a root canal for the tooth next to it on Thursday afternoon.
I haven't been able to jump in with any of you guys yet just due to time zones and other factors but talking is sort of rough for me right now so if I do jump in I won't be able to talk much and may not be at the top of my game.

Please if you guys have any sort of dental problems get it taken care of immediately. I let this go for too long simply due to anxiety issues and the dentist making my anxiety extremely bad but now it's much worse and much more expensive then it would have otherwise been.

It just defaults to your system settings, in this case your ps5 controller. You can change it in the ps5 settings menu.
Thanks but the PS5 settings don't have anything that allows me to have comms diverted to TV speakers.
