if you have a capable PC I feel this is one of those game you just have to get

does not really matter if it is good - it looks very interesting from a tech standpoint

I wanted this to be my last game, for awhile, but it comes with DENUVO. So.. even though I went with RE9 and it had DENUVO, I don't want to get games on release, anymore, if they have it...
I don't want to play games that use DRM, which brings down CPU performance and I'm not going to fuck with hypervisor and bring my rig into the realm of exploitation...

So it isn't always online. You just have to connect for the initial install since the whole game couldn't fit on the disc. After that you don't need internet at all. But the initial download will be 48Gb. It won't let you download the rest of the game until launch day i believe.

Well sucks for me for having bad luck i guess. I will stare at the case for a week until i can play it.

I can't understand how haters swithced from this is not real to this won't be on ps5, this has denuvo, the gameplay won't be good.

I thought i was a solid hater but im nothing compared to some gaffers who sound like they have permanent seats at the playa hater ball.

Some of the main gameplay features already shown, like combat, are the deepest in any open world. Only Elden Ring has combat on par with this.

Elden ring looks like baby first action game compared to this...

This look more like dogma getting ready for an arnold classic event...

No walking in circle baiting backstabs for 90% of enemies from what i saw.

I said Elden Ring because it has a ton of different builds, magic, weapons, items, armor types, etc. Mechanically it is simple, but its customization makes up for it. It's a ARPG after all.

I'd say it's way closer to Dragon's Dogma. Elden Ring is a very cool game but the combat is jank and way too simple.

I learned something new today. Because of differences in regional pricing and currency values, Steam doesn't allow gifting between regions where the price gap is too large. I'm in the USA so if the difference in currency exceeds 10% I can't gift a thing.

So after trying a few times we managed to connect on Steam but there is regional lock for gifts. Since I am in Europe and Idleyes is in the USA, there is no way he can gift me the game. Yeah it's the conversion. It's listed as 69.99 USD and 69.99 Euro it just that the Euro is more valuable than the USD right now.
