What have you just bought?

another bargain find. I was shocked to find it CIB, this is actually getting quite rare now.

The seller had two copies, so managed to haggle him down a bit too.

I had no clue a Blade Runner game even existed lol

It's actually quite decent too, a guilty pleasure of mine, from the golden age of point and click adventure type games. There is a hd remaster on steam :

There are far worse ways to spend $2 if you love blade runner!

The Witcher 3 & Cyberpunk 2077 hardcover guides from Ebay.

I don't need it but like to collect some of them.
Plus they make for some easy bathroom reading 😊

I'm enjoying Chronicles of the Dragonlance so I got the sequel trilogy books, Legends of the Dragonlance. I think there are many more books in the Dragonlance series but those are the last written by the original authors, so they'll probably be the last I read as well.

I was just thinking about those books for some reason the other day! It was a loooong time ago, but I actually liked the sequel trilogy more. Even now when I'm not really super into fantasy anymore, I still think they were pretty good. You;re right to skip everything that comes after btw. I remember the other books being totally mediocre fantasy slop.

Damn! Glad to read that. Yeah I've read online that the sequel trilogy is better, being less constrained by not being based on a D&D campaign or something like that. Quite excited to get to those, I'm at the 3rd book of Chronicles and so far I've enjoyed it a lot.

Yeah I heard they just hired some other writters to start mass-producing those. Pure fan-service without any of the soul, I would guess.

I bought that first book when I was in 8th grade at some book buying event my school held. I adored those books as a kid and read through them many many times. I remember one read through I listened to one of my favorite albums on repeat while reading. Which would then ingrain that music to the moments in the books. I would hear the music again and be brought back to the Dragonlance world. That effect lasted for several years listening to that album. Corrosion of Conformity - Deliverance was the album. I probably read the series to that CD multiple times so that effect was really strong.

I did that for a few other book series afterward. I used the Police discography to read the Hitchiker's Guide series. I believe I used the System of a Down discography for LOTR or Wheel of Time but I can't remember which.

Anyway, I tried re-reading the first book not too long ago and could not get through it. It was very simplistic and derivative. So, I suggest getting in on this book series very young. Luckily I think this was the first book I bought for myself and did not have anything to compare it to.

I was just looking at the wiki for the book to find out when it was released and I only now discovered Tracy Hickman is a man.

Just got in the MacBook neo 256gb in citrus for the wife. To me the color looks a little darker in person than in videos/pics which makes it look a little better imo. She tested it with office, Epic, etc just to test it out for work (She's an NP) and it does the job to replace her older HP. I didn't get to compare it to my air but for what we use our laptops for it should be fine.

I was surprised it was available at Walmart website and ordered it yesterday and it came today. The pink was sold out which is what she originally wanted but also liked the citrus.

For $600+ tax, I think these things will continue to sell like mad especially to companies, students with basic workload, and healthcare providers who just want something to access charts and do basic shit on.

A Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX5090, and I can't wait to test this thing with my PS3. It's gonna be my new bedroom setup, all my PS3 games and a bunch of movies on the PS3s HDD to feed my need for nostalgia. I just hope it doesn't have any burn-in because I'm so ready to clear my PS3 backlog over the course of the next few years.

And it only cost 40€. Unimaginable price, considering this TV once was sold for 3.5k.
