Yeah, seems much ado about nothing. That marketing/community douch didn't help matter much either. But glad it's finally out there so our base PS5 brethren can breath easily.Character and the buildings look all good, the foliage is a bit too soft and noisy. But if there aren't much performance hiccups this is totally okay for base PS5. Not sure why they were so reluctant to show the footage.

It's the usual pre release hate train.Of course, it was going to be fine. We saw Pro footage. Just lower the resolution and some settings, remove PSSR, and you got your PS5 version.
People were freaking out as if we had only seen it running on a 5090 or something.
I don't understand the hype on this game. I skimmed a 40min video and it was a whole lot of walking and riding on a horse. The world looks rather empty.
What am I missing here?

What you missed were the earlier videos and trailers when all they showed was action, massive fight scenes, destructible environments, sky diving, boss fights, etc. Then some gamers were asking where all the quieter moments were, and how do you traverse the world.I don't understand the hype on this game. Oh well, time to move the goalposts and bitch about the lack of footage for the Xbox Series S version now.
No one ever expected anything from Series S. It has always been treated as current-gen-lite.Almost everybody cares about base PS5 and virtually no one cares about XSS, not even enough to fulfill an outrage quota.
