No review codes sent out for Crimson Desert console versions

It should also be noted that the visuals and overall tech is one of the aspects that most reviews are praising about it, even those giving it relatively low scores.

So just remember that that 78 metascore is boosted by graphics and performance that are going to to be considerably lower on consoles (specially the not "pro" ones)

Not giving something that wasn't promised is lying now?

Their social media manager was telling people to shut up and not answering the question as to why they weren't showing the console versions of the game and now they won't even let reviewers touch said version. It's cause it runs like shit.

Point out the lie for me. Because I can't find it

Polygon huh, it's ok I'll summarize what their review would be:

Negatives
-Too many white people
-Not enough yellow paint
-The term "Kingdom" implies a patriarchy
-The female character deserves to be the main character
-Kliff is clearly gay except the writers aren't brave enough to have him say so

Positives
-There are none you Chud

3/10

While their PR guy is terrible, we have the official spec sheet, PC benchmarks as well as pro impressions so putting the series S aside, we can make a reasonable assumption about how it'll look/perform and it'll be fine. The biggest limiting factor is CPU performance so the base PS5 and SX won't be far behind the pro. Is image quality and RT going to be worse? Sure, but that is to be expected. I really see no reason to worry, maybe if DF hadn't taken a look at the pro.

This shit is BS. They should separate reviews from PC and consoles and give separate review scores. People seeing and 81 metacritic will think it's hunky dory on base consoles. This PR dude needs to be roasted and doxxed (ok maybe not that last part…..)

I dunno guys, there's one hell of a delta between Series S and PS5 Pro, even if on the CPU side -which I suspect will be the main stress point- everything's fairly even. I can understand them not wanting to muddy the waters too much.

Bottom line for me is with no refunds on console titles, waiting until launch day and the inevitable day 1 patch to get a true picture of the experience seems like a no-brainer.
