This is staged, no? By "staged," I don't mean "fake," but "staged" in the sense he's wearing a camera, his kids remain uninvolved, and the three of them simply ride off after as if it's a ho-hum, everyday tour. Maybe I have an overly active imagination, but it looks like he (Ritchson) set this jerk up after a prior encounter.
"I've got the camera on. We're going to ride by his place again and if he tries to start something, stay out of it and let me handle the situation. We'll send the video to the police and get him cited." "Ok, dad."
I don't have audio, but does he (Ritchson) even acknowledge his kids at any point during this altercation?
As a teen, I don't know what I would have actually done had I witnessed my father get into a bar fight or something of the like, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have just...calmly observed.
Watching the video, I see way too much restraint on the part of Ritchson. I don't ride, but if someone intentionally (and dangerously) stepped in front of my bike and assaulted me to the point I consequently dumped it, said assailant would not be walking away after a few punches, internet tough-guy routine be damned.
I'm probably wrong (Occam's razor), but the whole thing seems a bit odd.
Or perhaps Ritchson is the motorbike-terrorist scourge of suburbia and his kids were like, "Oh yay (sarcasm). This is happening again..."
In any event, entertainment is where you find it.
