Roll call ladies. Anyone who liked the game who dropped off at some point during the season not coming back for season 2, even just to check out the changes?

I'm here for the long haul. It's the greatest MP game in the last twenty years.
I just want to see Bungie get crazy with it.

Never left really. Been playing on and off, maybe not as often as I used too because I'm swapping between this and Diablo 4 and now just got back into ZZZ.

After the update yesterday, there was a link to a survey about possible future shell and weapons designs, and they look way better than S1. If the season 2 pass has better cosmetics, I'd be more inclined to purchase it.

Warden Hunt will be available until the end of Season 1
- New Warden Encounters: Wardens can spawn at new POIs in Perimeter, Dire Marsh, and Outpost.
- Locked room keys are guaranteed to drop from Wardens for the remainder of the season.
- Key Templates are now Compromised instead of Fragile.
- Every run now has a guaranteed chance for a zone event to occur (Ex: Lockdowns, Intercept, etc)

Had 5 lobby clearning runs on Outpost last night with an absolute maniac. He was clearing squads even without us :D

I have loads of gear so some fun times ahead before the wipe.

Had some great day time runs this last couple of weeks. The random experience has got so much better as the season has progressed, especially with the comm's based matchmaking and stay togeather.

I'm off to the arse end of nowhere Friday but should be on Thursday evening all being well.
 
Haha if you start the game up at the moment, it will boot you into the tutorial level with a reset character. Great.
Server offline message here. Don't think they are due back up for another half hour.

Edit: Games back up, no dramas everything cool.

Yeah just weird that the game booted and reset and tried to start the tutorial instead of just displaying a maintenance message. Didn't happen to me with other maintenance windows

Glitch in the matrix.

Chaos first round, warden spawns south relay the whole map is there in 20 seconds flat lol.

Def lots of cheaters online end of season though. My mates and I basically wiped a lobby up into pinwheel only to have a rook running w a knife completely wipe us while we were all three full shields andbshooting him in the face he just ate bullets full charging at us no problem. I loaded into matches later where people were voluntarily stating they were seeing people take seemingly no damage somehow like all shots to the face by their teammates and wouldn't die. Not sure what is going on but it sucks
 
50% extra XP will make it a lot easier to hit 100 before the season ends, not that it has felt too bad the past few days anyway gaining a couple levels an afternoon. Some good changes in here!

Shit I wonder if I could sprint to level 100 with these exp bonuses. I'm only level 42 still and that's the only achievement I need to 100% (getting a vip in the process).
 
I'll be honest the amount of uesc is a tad on the overwhelming side. I couldn't push someone on marsh because there's just SO many between me and the opponent.

On outpost I killed like 7 purple shield wardens and then a gold was near exfil too guarded by a ton of blue and purples.

God damn!
 
As I look at season 1, other extraction games, where I am with games, and the future for this game I am all in for this just pseudo becoming Destiny 3.

I actually think the guns, gunplay, classes, world, atmosphere, etc lend itself to doing pve content galore and even just regular TDM arena modes.

It isn't the extraction shooter itself I crave from marathon but all the other things that come with it. So if the game evolved into something else entirely I could see this just being my main game always.

In its current state and if it only was the pure sweat fest I'd likely only come at the start of new seasons for a week and dip. We just need ways to ramp up the intensity depending on the mood you are in for an activity that caters to that.

Warframe does a fantastic job of this.

I actually think the guns, gunplay, classes, world, atmosphere, etc lend itself to doing pve content galore and even just regular TDM arena modes.

It isn't the extraction shooter itself I crave from marathon but all the other things that come with it. So if the game evolved into something else entirely I could see this just being my main game always.

In its current state and if it only was the pure sweat fest I'd likely only come at the start of new seasons for a week and dip. We just need ways to ramp up the intensity depending on the mood you are in for an activity that caters to that.

Warframe does a fantastic job of this.
This is where im at. I just love everything about this game so they can do whatever they want, i'll be there

Deleted from both my PCs and PS5 Pro. I still hate the way the characters and guns look, it's distracting. Love the maps, except Cryo. That map is ass. Hate self revives. They should be removed from the game along with all infrared scopes. Matchmaking takes too long. Love the lore. Hate the way the skill trees are done. Oh, I also hate that everyone can loot a body at once. Terrible decision.

They nerfed self res into the ground today.

Maybe this is where Bungie and Sony are at as well. Be a hell of a lot cheaper and quicker to repurpose this and flesh it out than it would be doing at straight D3.
