Obviously what defines significant will vary (and I would consider Theme Park to be NOT significant, IMO the interface and experience is vastly inferior to Theme Hospital), but:charlequin said:So, besides Syndicate (can't happen until after the crappy new game is released) and System Shock (probably can't happen ever) what significant EA games are we still waiting for? From Polish resources (gamezilla.pl facebook) I have known that another exclusive game is coming on GoG.
Also, newer titles will be present in gog.com catalogue (from higher prices)
If I know something more, ill let you know, because the conference is still going.
In 2012 we may expect two new games from CDP Red (smaller titles) and for 2014 and 2015 two AAA+ titles

GOG.com Action Plan for 2012
Signing an agreement to offer older games to two, new, leading publishers of games.
Entry into a new segment - an introduction to the first offer newer games (at least 20 titles) offered at prices ranging from 13.99 to 16.99 USD.
The establishment of direct cooperation with the ambitious independent game developers and publishers.
The first premiere of a new title created by well-known foreign studio. The game will be sold on a temporary basis exclusively in the digital distribution channel, which is available on GOG.com before the advent of the competitors offer.
Digital distribution of games is one of the youngest and most dynamic segments in our industry. Because of this specificity, and still the changes are precisely the activities planned for the end of 2013. For the years 2014 and 2015 assume the broad lines of development, which will detail carefully watching the development of the market. As in the case of the Polish distribution business, which looks beyond the specific plans for 2012 years will be gradually revealed. This is to protect the competitive position of GOG.com. Given the above, have set for the company's goal at the end of 2013.
GOG.com goal at the end of 2013
Achieving the second position in the world independent platform for PC games digital distribution offers products in all price categories.
Further aggressive business growth in the years 2012 and 2013 at 100% year on year.
We want to achieve continuing our successful strategy by which GOG.com has become in three years the number one in the electronic distribution of classic PC games. In particular:
We will continuously focus on our core values, with an emphasis on honesty, integrity and fair treatment of players, so that GOG.com is recognized as the most friendly digital distribution platform.
We will work with the world's leading publishers and studios make up the best games, collectively building a new quality of digital distribution to customers.

they could just add a gng.com reskin of the existing site, but have the same library on both versions. heheSpectacular Dr Dawg said:Sounds great!
I wonder if they will sell new games under the good old games moniker or use a different one.

I never played the Crusader games, are they worth it? They seemed somewhat cool back then (though magazines just covered the console versions iirc)... I see screenshots with NPCs and stuff, are they adventure-ish on top of the action? Like, top down Deus Ex? Which one is the best and why? Can you play them with a gamepad?
Is Populous 2 any good? I've only played the first one and that 3d reboot thingy from a few (many?) years back.
NICE. Those games were awesome. I miss Origin so much.New release: Crusader: No Regret
It's hard to answer without nostalgia creeping (and although I bought No Remorse I haven't played it since way back when) in but:I never played the Crusader games, are they worth it? I believe that you can aim with the keyboard but it doesn't work very well. Should be able to get Xpadder working, I just don't think it'll be that great.Gamepad: I doubt natively but possibly with something like xpadder. Check GOG forums for that. I don't know if it would work to well, though, as IIRC the aiming is performed with the mouse.
The Starflight series be better part of this deal ... or else.
Early Need for Speeds (could licensing be an issue?)
Bunch of games on GOG on promo:

From what little I know, it looks like Postal 1 and 2 (if you're up for it) ... the 2 Stronghold games are on sale, those are the best ones right?
I have little to no authority on the rest of the titles though.
NEW RELEASE: The complete Ultima 7
Ultima 7: The Black Gate
Ultima 7: Forge of Virtue
Ultima 7 pt 2: Serpent's Isle
Ultima 7 pt 2: The Silver Seed
*FINALLY* some expansion packs for an EA title.
(Small aside: Have *any* EA games hit the $10 pricepoint, yet? I was kinda expecting this one to do so, but no, it's still $6)
