Steam Autumn Sale Thread of Your Wallet Giving Thanks *Gobble Gobble*

I would expect to see this repeated at the end of the Holiday sale. No end of sale top deal compilation on the last day.

WTF? No Cyber Monday sale?

Steam is slipping. Didn't even think about picking up anything in the past three sales...

Well guys, it was fun doing the OP these past couple of days.

And if you'll have me, I'll make another one for Christmas, if not, it's not big deal.

:D

Still kinda regretting not getting Dead Space 2 for a fiver but I've got loads of games to wade through. Let's see what Xmas brings.

Nice sale. Picked up a game a day.

  1. Orcs Must Die!
  2. Fallout: New Vegas
  3. Deus Ex: Human Revolution
  4. RAGE
  5. Dead Space 2

All in all a pretty good sale.

I got two games:
  • Fallout: New Vegas
  • Thief: Deadly Shadows
5 bucks each.

Also got gifted:
  • Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Ed.
  • Sanctum
My deepest appreciation.

I'm so ready for Christmas sale.

Renegade Ops - $3.75
Orcs Must Die - $3.75
New Vegas DLC - $1.50

$9 total, least amount I can remember ever spending during a Steam sale!

Bulletstorm will be mine some day, hoping for $5 during the Christmas sale (on either Steam or Origin). I don't have time to play it right now anyway.

I got the Oddbox and Dirt 3. I'm happy with my purchases. Both were games I was waiting on a sale to buy. Dirt 3 is probably one of the best looking S3D PC games I've played.

Orcs Must Die - bought for whatever the price was
Renegade Ops - got gifted by Arken2121 (thanks!)

I'm happy I didn't get too much games, as I still have some stuff in my backlog that I want to finish before the holiday sale.

Damn, kind of regretting not picking up the Half Life 2 episodes while they were on sale. Ah well, they'll be back at the end of the year presumably

Sort of went crazy....

Orcs Must Die ($5 for the game and DLC)
Disciples III and the sequel ($15 and $5)
Dead Space 2 ($5)
Bulletstorm ($10)
Burnout Paradise ($10)
DoW II - DLC - Tau Commander (shit son, Tau Commander in Last Stand is a monster!)

*gasp*
World of Goo
Limbo
Oddworld Abe's Odyssey
Oddworld Abe's Exodus
Oddworld Munch's Odyssey
Star Wars Knight of the Old Republic
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
VVVVVV

Total damages at < $25

First Steam sale I ever actively participated in, feelsgoodman
I also went on an OCD binge and went through the entire Steam catalog and wishlisted/downloaded demos far any and all interesting titles.

Made it through with only $2.49 for LIMBO. Passed up on Dead Space 2 and Deus Ex. My Steam backlog has grown to such ridiculous proportions that I honestly have to stop buying games... until the holiday sale.

Let's see...

Rainbow Six 3: Gold - $2.50
Westward 1-4 - $5.50
Critical Mass - $1.25
Darkest Hour - $4
Faerie Solitaire - $1
Gundemonium Recollection - $2
GundeadliGne - $2

Traded my bro for $15 gift card to a place I don't eat:
Jamestown
Syberia 1 & 2
Broken Sword Trilogy (update BS2, Steam!)

Generosity of GAF:
Rainbow Six: Vegas - Won from small contest that happened due to sale. ($2.50 value)
Eversion - Was randomly gifted for the love of gaming. ($1.25 value)

Cost to me: $18.25 or $33.25 if you count gift card value, but that was a gift, so I'd count the games as a gift. Either way, it's under $2 a game. Not bad.

Didn't want Hitogata Happa? I picked up the Gundemonium Collection for $4.99 and it included all three games.
An experienced bullet hell player said it was a whole different level of pain from the others. I'm not that extreme in the genre yet.
