The real pros are only in it for the yahoo medals.
I'm gunning for that elusive Toyota Prius Game Changer medal this week to take the outright lead on you there.

Azwethinkweiz bagged that medal against me last week with Johnny Knox and that's only made me bound and determined to gun for it now... starting with Riley Cooper tonight.

You, of course, already have that medal having earned it back in Week 7 with Plaxico Burress.
Frankman won it with Eric Decker way back during Week 2.
mr2xxx pulled off the trick with a different Bronco when Willis McGahee took down this prize in Week 9.

GCQuinton also earned this medal in Week 11 "under dubious means"... silly Yahoo! glitch deleting Cutler's projection for a game he already played following his season-ending thumb fracture. No fair! <shakes fist at no one in particular>

McCoy limited. Manningham out. Good as Goukd is as good as done (against me). Should have a very good chance at the playoffs.

Manningham may be done for the year.

After making some shrewd trades all season long, Rinker may be slipping at the absolute worst possible time... which now leaves me doing the mental gymnastics to not only defeat you in the Economy league this week in addition to setting up a situation where I DON'T have to face you NEXT WEEK in NQ3.

It goes without saying that Week 14 is the absolute most important matchup week of the entire season if you're in the playoffs as it determines whether you spend two weeks fighting it out over your $50 entry fee or competing for actual winnings.

In a perfect world, I face you the week Run DMC returns to the lineup at 100% and Michael Bush goes back to change-of-pace RB duties. ;)

You're probably in good shape to catch Hookers And Blow in the standings provided that he loses to the Commish (in addition to moving ahead of the loser of the Ember Island Players/PrimeTime showdown) which only complicates matters.

EDIT: McCoy is playing tonight but I'd still put you as an overwhelming favorite to win your matchup this week regardless.

Marshawn Lynch is singlehandedly battering down Dinner Out's opposition this week.

Still very early in the 2nd quarter but Dinner Out's projected lead over Rooks in their matchup this week has been built up from 7.81 points to a whopping 25.11 points.

Looking good for Dinner Out to lock up the 2nd seed which would lead to him facing one of Hookers And Blow, TD's 'N Beer or Romo Wittenhispants in the quarterfinal round.

I'm 13.7 points away from getting that elusive Prius Game Changer medal. C'mon Cooper! Hoping to close that to less than 10 points before the end of the first half.

Don't I leapfrog H&B if I beat him this week? Don't count me out :p

Hookers & Blow has a lead of close to 60 points on you, Cloudy. You're pretty much fighting for 8th place at best right now barring some remote scenarios playing out (hence why I didn't mention you or the other 8th place hopefuls as likely Dinner Out opponents).

Granted, if Frankman topples FPL this week then you could flip the potential opponents list over to FPL. You'd be in line to play Dinner Out in that situation.

So I pretty much need to win with a Romo loss? I just wanna get in lol

edit: Seems like a primetime loss works as well if I win

So much for Shady being limited.
Shady being limited is better than most other RBs 100%.
Rinker still has to work some magic to topple your team on Sunday, though.

Man, what a loser that Vince Young is, eh? FOUR INTERCEPTIONS including ONE PICK SIX! Good thing I dumped his ass to the wire this week. (In No Quitters anyway.)

Riley Cooper isn't going to get me 20 fantasy points. :(
Now I'll have to find someone else to earn my medal.

Fuck yeah Marshawn Lynch. Awesome start this week.

Looking at another league I'm in, Reggie Bush or DeAngelo Williams at flex? Both pretty good matchups.

Start the player that will score more points. :)

I have the same question with DWill but it's Stevie Johnson instead of Bush.
Start the player that will score less points. :)

Don't want to answer this one due to the number of owners' playoff lives riding on your team's demise. I'll get lynched. Just like the Eagles did tonight.
Trust your instincts. They haven't steered you wrong the past month. They should guide you well here, too.

Sorry about the spelling errors in my posts. Most are done from my IPhone at work. Anyways it will be a tough call on who to go with. Stevie hasn't exactly been consistent lately. Neither has DWill, but that matchup is just so tasty.

ADD - Vince Young (Phi - QB) Ku Klux Klams
DROP - Sam BradfordQ (StL - QB)
Klams you have to drop Young, he played a Thursday game. People who play early games can't be picked up until the next waiver period, remember?

Unless the waiver rules changed again...

Nope, that's a valid complaint. That transaction should be reversed. Or Klams can grab another free agent in his place.

(Even if it is for a backup QB that just threw 4 picks in a game who probably won't play for the rest of this year acquired by an already eliminated team.)

He didn't do it for any advantage. Bradford (his starter) didn't practice much on Friday and it looks like a gametime decision. He probably wasn't aware that Young had already played (Who would pick him up after that debacle? lol)

I removed Young from Klam's lineup and replaced him with Grossman

Hate to be technical but Grossman should also be considered off limits given that you churned him off your roster on Friday.

His waiver turnover date was the 7th (Tuesday night / Wednesday morning) which means Sexy Rexy was off limits to anyone who wanted him (potentially 9 teams given your waiver position this week) both today & tomorrow.

No reason Klams should have the opportunity to use him because he made an invalid pickup.

Other available starting QB options for tomorrow's games include Dan Orlovsky, Blaine Gabbert, Tyler Palko, A.J. Feeley, Josh Johnson and ... after the overnight waiver run (which Klams would have 2nd priority for with the nullification of the Young pickup), Caleb Hanie.

There is no other starting QB to give him as far as I can see. It's either Grossman or give him an empty QB spot in a game that has playoff implications for others (myself included for full disclosure lol)

edit: Those are some shitty options considering no one else is gonna take Grossman anytime soon. I will go with whatever the group decides on this one since it affects me. If not for that, I'd be very much against starting a potentially garbage QB in a game that will determine who makes the playoffs :p

So, let's hear some thoughts. I will check back later and pick the best of that trash heap for Klam's if people are against him having Grossman who was dropped yesterday

Since he always is around Sunday, give him Haine tomorrow. I trust you e-mailed and PMed him also.

I guess Hanie isn't much of a dropoff from Rex. Yeah I did email him but I like to post in here for everyone to see as well

WEEK 13 ADJUSTED MATCHUP PROJECTIONS (as per lineups set right now)

(1) FirstPlaceLoser - 97.42
The Big Blue Crew 3 - 73.49

INJURY NOTES: Frankman has no less than 3 players listed as questionable to play tomorrow. Julio Jones (see Turner below), Percy Harvin (mystery illness but they swear it's not migraines) and Kevin Smith (practiced in a limited fashion this week; plays in the Sunday nighter leaving Frankman without a player to sub in should Smith not be cleared for action).

(2) Dinner Out - 105.71
Rooks - 73.91

(8) TD's 'N Beer - 94.79
(3) Good As Gould - 85.04

(4) Long Island Broskis - 73.87
Puddles of Below Avg - 69.21

INJURY NOTES: Josh Freeman's availability will come down to a game-time decision. Puddles has Joe Flacco available to insert in as a replacement if necessary.

Peyton's Creaky Neck - 78.56
(5) Hookers And Blow - 74.83

(6) PrimeTime - 85.05
(7) Ember Island Players - 82.70

INJURY NOTES: Michael Turner is questionable to start tomorrow after only practicing in a limited fashion on Friday. The Falcons have not been forthcoming with any details about his availability on Sunday - Atlanta's beat reporters suck the big one.

Romo Wittenhispants - 76.52
Ku Klux Klams - 72.54

ROSTER ADJUSTMENT NOTES: The Commish is waiting to hear back from mr2xxx re: a replacement QB for his starting lineup following the illegal Vince Young pickup. Grossman's projection has not been factored in to the above totals.

Bail Kings (NeoGAF) - 91.23
Sinistar - 83.59

If tomorrow's matchups were to all unfold as projected (which they won't - but hey, it's fun to project), the playoff matchups for next week would be set as follows:

1. FirstPlaceLoser (9-4)
8. Romo Wittenhispants (7-6) - 1074.02 Points For

2. Dinner Out (9-4)
7. Hookers And Blow (7-6) - 1091.67 Points For

3. Long Island Broskis (8-5)
6. TD's 'N Beer (7-6) - 1100.29 Points For

4. Good As Gould (8-5)
5. PrimeTime (8-5)

Regarding Young i put in for him but didn't realize he would of been picked up after his Thursday game. After i realized it i put in for Rex on my waiver. I wasn't able to move the priorty to Rex on my ipad so i left it as is because I assumed since Young played I wouldn't get him and instead would get Rex. Put in Caleb if anyone has an issue with Rex.

ok WR help

Green vs Pit

or

Wayne vs NE

Yeah i still have Wayne on my team but hardly use him. Ive been using Hou Jones because he get some pts for KR

Ummmm why does Ubertag have Rice, Gronk, and Wallace on the bench?
They're on my bench for the moment. Could go back in to my lineup before kickoff tomorrow. Definitely see a scenario where I activate Ray Rice as he doesn't play until the 4:05pm games. More so than other weeks I'm letting the pace of the other matchups dictate how I use my personnel.

It's too bad Puddles is already eliminated after playing an inactive LT last week against Frankman or the matchup could have meant more than it does. I can pick a few nits with his lineup for this week, too - he's got Vernon Davis riding the pine, after all. Plus he's got Woodhead benched despite what will be a classic New England run-up-the-score decimation of the Colts tomorrow.

As for Gronk and Wallace, both Little and Cook offer prime opportunities to earn that Toyota Prius Game Changer medal that I covet so much to take the outright lead over Rinker. Not to mention I almost lost my matchup to Hookers And Blow last week due to Wallace... should have benched him then too. He's totally a coverage decoy for Antonio Brown right now. Plus, Big Ben is still hampered by his broken thumb.

That's a little confusing seeing how you landed Vince on your team prior to Rex even getting dropped but I can understand the move being made after the fact even though Rex wouldn't be available until Wednesday (effectively making him just as illegal as Vince to land sooner).

Restoring your waiver status means you would have landed Hanie after tonight's waiver run (except in the unlikely scenario that Sinistar puts his own request in for him) so the Commish shouldn't have a problem moving him over to your team.

REVISED Y! PROJECTION POST-HANIE ADD:

Ku Klux Klams - 79.73
Romo Wittenhispants - 76.52

In this scenario, Peyton's Creaky Neck would earn the coveted 8th and final playoff spot. See why the Commish is so interested?

To be honest, I think the available QB with the best potential for fantasy performance tomorrow if he starts is easily Josh Johnson at home against a wretched Panthers defense. Especially given his proclivity towards rushing yardage which Freeman lacks. Current projections aren't mapping his potential right now due to the game-time decision nature of Freeman's status. If Freeman doesn't go, Johnson should easily shoot ahead of Hanie in projected fantasy points. His passing accuracy is Tebow-esque but when he does complete passes they typically go for crazy big yardage.

AJ Green is playing at an elite level right now. You have to start him regardless of matchup.

Honestly, I am completely dialed out. I'm taking the GRE on Tuesday, and I've been putting in 8-10 hours a day doing math exercises. I haven't been a good fantasy owner for the last month or so due to personal issues.

No worries. The GRE should be your focus; nothing wrong with prioritizing around that. You could have looked into bringing on a co-owner to help manage your teams while you focus on your studies but I'm not one to talk there... I probably would have done the exact same thing.

Best of luck on Tuesday. Hope you knock it out of the park!

Garcon vs. NE
or
Decker vs. MN?
Roll with Decker. Garcon may not even rate above Collie now that Painter's out of the equation.

Josh Freeman has been declared OUT for today's matchup against Carolina.

If either Cloudy or Crazymoogle could lend Puddles an assist by moving Flacco into his starting lineup before 1:00pm today, I'd appreciate it.
If not, I'll play my team without an active QB to keep things balanced. I'm fine either way. Thanks!

Yeah, let's avoid playing empty rosters. I'll fix it.

And did we decide that it'll be Hanie for Klams?

What's this puddles issue? (starts looking at thread)

#firstworldproblems

I gotta sit one of Arian Foster, Chris Johnson, Michael Bush and DeMarco Murray this week...

'Kay. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the update. Fitz will go back into my lineup once Flacco is in place.
Although... <looks at Week 13 projection for Josh Johnson> ... he is so going outplay that. I may take a crack at the Game Changer medal from the QB position as well.

That's not a bad problem to have heading into fantasy playoff season. :)

It's maddening. I hate starting the wrong guy when there's not a clear lineup. Same at receiver...Stevie, AJ Green, Andre ughhh
I've benched the best performer out of Gore, CJ and Marshawn Lynch in the GAF Cat.gif league each of the past 5-6 weeks.
Drives you bonkers but that's the nature of fantasy.

Hmm, UT are you trying to strategically tank to stay at #4? I personally think that's fine especially when your opponent is already out of it lol

And that matchup doesn't mean anything to anyone else Just be careful what you wish for. H&B has a good team :p

Should I start Tebow or Alex Smith?
Von Miller being out will make it difficult for the Broncos D to give Tebow good field position. I don't expect him to be as good as he has been in recent weeks fantasy-wise... BUT I would still easily start him ahead of Alex Smith. The 49ers game vs. the Rams should see a non-stop rushing attack so lots of Gore and possibly a sprinkling of Hunter when they're salting the game away.

So roll the dice with Tebow. Hoping they pull out another win today and take the lead over those lazy, lazy Oakland Raiders.

Matchup only impacts playoff seeding right now so doesn't impact anyone's chance at the playoffs.
I've been outspoken about my goals this week being to land that Yahoo! Game Changer medal (this is the last week I can make a serious run at it) and to avoid playing TD's 'N Beer next week.
If I can accomplish those goals and still win my game this week vs. Puddles, I'm fine with that.

I will insert Ray Rice into my lineup in place of Starks or Little for the 4pm games if I have my medal or Good As Gould/Hookers And Blow significantly outproduce their projections and look strong in their respective games.

Turner still hurt? Should I start Matthews or Turner?
Turner should get his full complement of touches today but the Texans present a terrible matchup for him even when he's 100%... and he's probably not 100% right now.

I would roll the dice with Mathews in the Monday nighter. The Jags D took a beating with injuries this past week so they should be vulnerable.
