And the other, was a trade I discussed with UberTag after the fact, which has bit me in the ass badly. Ryan Mathews and Dwayne Bowe for Peyton Hillis, made after week 1. Yeah. Ouch.
Having anything to do with the year's Madden NFL cover boy is always playing with fire. It never ends well.

Still, such a heartbreaking season for me.
No reason you can't turn heartbreak into success. Just ask the folks who took flyers on Jerome Harrison in their championship games two years ago.
If you're still alive, you still have a chance.

Good luck to everyone tonight whose fate rests in the hands of the Chargers & Jaguars.
In other news, I loathe Darren McFadden and wish nothing but ruin & misfortune upon the entire Raiders organization. :)

Since AJ had 10 points week 1 I can only assume assume you were smoking something...but hey, good on you making 3rd seed.
I honestly can't remember why I did. I think I read some idiot online who talked about his low targets or whatever and that the TD was somewhat of a fluke. Hard lesson bailing early, but I'll never do it again that's for sure.

This is true, I have never given up and constantly been active on the wire for solid pick ups and weekly fill ins. My buddies are amazed I'm somehow still winning.

Lmao I'm gonna make it
The only thing that remains in doubt right now is whether VJax gets more love from Rivers in the 4th quarter while the Chargers pad their lead... which could save minx88's fantasy season.

Otherwise, the final playoff picture will look like this:

1. FirstPlaceLoser (9-4)
8. Bail Kings (NeoGAF) (6-7) - 1139.98 Points For
FirstPlaceLoser DEFEATED Bail Kings (NeoGAF) back in Week 8 by a score of 101.50 to 67.92.

2. Dinner Out (9-4)
7. Peyton's Creaky Neck (7-6)
Peyton's Creaky Neck DEFEATED Dinner Out back in Week 4 by a score of 95.28 to 68.94.

3. Good As Gould (9-4)
6. Hookers And Blow (7-6)
These teams have not been matched up against each other this season.

4. PrimeTime (8-5)
5. Long Island Broskis (7-6)
The LI Broskis DEFEATED PrimeTime back in Week 9 by a score of 105.44 to 44.30.

Fucking hell. It was a good run I had. If I would have started Stevie Johnson this loss would have been that much more painful. If only Blount a d Bush would have played REMOTELY close to what the should have I had this.

Wow, everything worked out perfectly for me. Dinner Out is a tough matchup but at least there's some hope there if the Saints are off lol

The bigger problem might be Marshawn Lynch's cake matchup against the Rams Run D in the Monday nighter. He's batting cleanup after an 11-day rest against one of the worst defenses against the run this season. Won't be easy.

EIB could sneak into the playoffs with some miraculous stats changes but the Niners D really pushed Moogle over the top.

I've locked all the eliminated teams from adding/dropping players. Moogle please look it over before Wednesday to make sure I didn't screw something up lol

It was fun this year. The injuries just killed me. I am really surprised I hung in there toward the end. Good luck to all of you that made the playoffs!

Non Neogaf team help needed for my playoff team.

Nee to choose 2 out of

Bradshaw vs DAL
Ingram vs TEN
Spiller vs SD
Robinson vs NYG

Facing the #1 seed with the highest scoring team. I am leaning towards Ingram and Spiller. Spiller has been getting the majority of the carries lately and the Saints should be up early and run the ball often. I don't trust Bradshaw being back because Jacobs could easily steal any goal line touches. Robinson might not see the same number of targets this week with Miles coming back. Spiller is the only RB getting any carries for the Bills so I like him against a up and down Chargers team.

It's still early but I like your rationale on all of those decisions.
Robinson is a tough guy to bench so you may want to gauge your decision there on what comes out of the Cowboys practice reports as to how sharp Austin looks.

Lame! Starting Freeman was the difference in my game =(

That sucks, but the Knights of Mars are thankful! I need to win out to make the playoffs, if you would have taken Freeman out, my fantasy players would be making vacation plans after next week. STILL IN IT! (with my scrubby, terribad team)

You can still make the playoffs even if you lose to my Broskis if Rexs loses and you maintain your "points for" edge over both myself and Locker2SB.

Doesn't seem so terribad to me. ;)

I still can't believe I won lol

Oh and dropping Floyd was a mistake. I should have kept him just in case. Now Brown isn't a reliable start at W/R with Forte out. *sigh*

My predictions for round 1:

1. FirstPlaceLoser (9-4)
8. Bail Kings (NeoGAF) (6-7)

FPL got the scariest lower seed but that team is just insane...even without AP

2. Dinner Out (9-4)
7. Peyton's Creaky Neck (7-6)

Saints and Marshawn are due for an off game and the Chargers are finally healthy

3. Good As Gould (9-4)
6. Hookers And Blow (7-6)

Unless Rodgers goes off, H&B is pretty vulnerable

4. PrimeTime (8-5)
5. Long Island Broskis (7-6)

UberTank will be punished by the FF gods :p

Did pretty well on my GRE, just to let you guys know. 167 verbal, 158 quantitative. I'll find out about the essays in a few weeks.

Best of luck to all the playoff teams!

I'm in first place in one of my leagues. Four team playoff, and the four teams are pretty much set. Depending on whether I win or lose next week and how many points I score, I could end up facing any of them in the first round.

Trying to decide if I want to play the current #4 seed or not.

4. PrimeTime (8-5)

I believe divine retribution for tanking in fantasy only comes into play if it actually has any tangible impact.

The only difference resulting from me losing my Week 13 matchup is that I'm ranked 5th instead of 4th and thus get to enjoy waiver priority over Sumidor to ensure he doesn't get to replace his hapless Raiders defense with the Seachickens.

I have no regrets whatsoever about last week.

Now the fantasy gods may choose to punish me for dealing Reggie Bush & Santonio Holmes to the now eliminated Ember Island Players for my new official team mascot, Darren McFadden. Serves me right for making a trade deadline gambit for an injured player and not realizing that Hue Jackson is a delusional liar.

I let all of Rinker's shrewd deals get under my skin (especially after that Roddy White acquisition for a couple of jobbers) and I jumped the gun with a reckless move when I really should have held firm. That decision may come back to haunt me... just hopefully not this week. ;)

Who did rinker give up for Roddy White again?
Plaxico Burress and Tampa Mike Williams.
Technically, Tampa Mike has played better of late.
I suppose I'm grateful that Roddy was traded away seeing how I'm facing his former owner in the quarterfinals this week.

Dudes who are making the playoffs in the Econ League, we agreed on 80-30-10 for the payout, right? That's what I have written down.

Hmm Golden Tate was a good option at WR that I missed
He was tops on my receiver list given his snap count post-Sidney Rice hitting IR.
Closest thing to a WR1 the Seahawks have.

Even so, you managed to snag the only other worthwhile WR off the wire this week. Demaryius has plenty of talent; you just won't know whether he'll get 1 point or 16 when you start him due to how limited Tebow's passing attack is. He's effectively another Devery Henderson.

I got both of the adds off the wire I wanted so I'm happy.

Yeah but what if he does come back in the championship round? Wouldn't be cool to skew things that way so I'll just bench him
I think there's an outside shot Forte is back for Week 16 but I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable starting him even if he's active.

TE Help

Ballard vs Cowboys
or
Schefffler vs Min

Its a keeper league so im stuck with these too
With Scheffler you're pretty much counting on touchdowns. At least with Ballard you're more or less guaranteed targets and points.

Definitely roll with Ballard if Manningham doesn't play. Otherwise, you may want to flip a coin. Scheffler probably has more risk-reward value so if you're trailing in your matchup instead of protecting a lead you may want to roll with him.

Been changing up my l/u alot lately. Mostly with my 3rd RB. Been switching with R Grant and K Williams( I lost FJax to IR). Thinking of picking up Bell.

A team like Dinner Out is good enough to make the final round but a limited Forte is still the 2nd best RB for him lol

Anyone here interested in fantasy hoops? I'm already holding enough GAF money so someone else should run it but I'd be down :p

I know Dinner Out and Kememsi are in so that makes 4. If we can get 8-10, we'll do this :p
I'd sign up except I have yet to pop my fantasy basketball cherry.

Probably going to join a league for fun with some co-workers to give it a whirl. Seems like an opportune time given the convenient timing with NBA goodness kicking off right around the same time that the fantasy football season wraps up.

Basketball is easier than football IMO because players usually perform to their potential in the long run barring injury. If you watch basketball at all, you should jump in :p
