Haha.He was trying really hard to be nice it seemed. Should have given him the Ma$e treatment.
His interview with Tech N9Ne was pretty cool, too. Tech was really amazed at how Nardwuar was able to know so much.y'all should see Curren$y vs. Nardwuar 2. Pretty funny shit.

Fucking Warner Bros. only sent out the 360 and PC versions. Smh.Common on PS3 runs like shit though
This.Rapper's (and musicians in general) reaction to Nardwuar always tells me a lot about their personalities. Some of them just shrug the oddness off, others embrace it, and then some act like humorless fucking dickbag bitch ass children.
i'm a chill dude but Narduwar would annoy the fuck out of me. he tries too hard.
it's hilarious to watch, but it's awkward IRL.
i'd have to do em like Hov

I also liked his Lil B interview, purely for the end when Lil B reacts to Nardwuar's "freeze."
Undun is amazing. "Tip the Scale" is a fucking awesome track. The Roots never cease to amaze me...
Next: Common
It doesn't have to be clean, but I would like the shit to be mastered properly so I can listen to it in my car.Is it just me or is his shit sounding alot cleaner now?

Black Thought has always been on another level. Easily one of the most under appreciated underrated MC's ever.
Thanks alot dudeI made a mix of every hip-hop track released in 1979, the year that the first hip-hop record was released. Maybe some of you will like it.

To be fair, you kinda come off as a humorless dickbag sometimes.
Thanks alot dude
I don't know a lot about this era of hip hop, way before my time. Anyone know of any book/movie about the era/music? Listening to this now has piqued my interest.
Cheers man, I hope you like it.Thanks alot dude

As for films/documentaries about early hip-hop culture, check out these if you haven't seen them: -
Wild Style
Style Wars
Beat This: A Hip-Hop History
The Freshest Kids (about the history of the b-boy)
New York 77: The Coolest Year In Hell
Cheers mate!
Sort of related, I highly recommend Just for Kicks, it's a documentary about sneakers that ties heavily into hip-hop. The beginning really focuses on the 1970s B-boy era with their Suede Pumas and Adidas Shell Tops. One of the best documentaries I've seen.

Everything I know about hip hop I learned from Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo

Damn those WTT tour docs are fresh as hell. King shit right there. I wonder if they'll put out a compilation after; or even if the album creation process documentary will get a proper release.

The first one is the only movie I've ever paid to see twice at the cinema. Electric Boogaloo was a huge disappointment to me!ReconYoda said:Everything I know about hip hop I learned from Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo
NEVER! It's dire. I still own both on DVD though.Breakin 2 was the superior movie by far.
Another good track. Damn that album is going to be insane. Definitely holding my list until that drops (since it's supposed to this month).Schoolboy Q - Niggahs Already Know.
I don't know if I can handle HnC on top of what I already got to listen to. Gotta listen to TM103 + The Dreamer, The Believer still and HnC might knock TM103 off the priority list.
Definitely. They have a great understanding of rap, and they bounce ideas off each other really well. Natural discussion, and it's interesting to see that many people talk about one album.Ever since someone posted that Undun review, I've been hooked on Dead End Hip Hop. Their reviews and discussions are on point; I like the way they all just kind of talk about music like a group of friends.
Lol at the mini mannie fresh.
he looked OK to me and i've done bumps before
