What's not like the Spy? Low health, Invisibility, and backstabs.

And I'm also playing support 99.9% of the time. I believe I have a right to dwell into the other heroes if I please.

Some of you may not understand, but I HAVE to be good at Riki. There's no viable option for me but to practice Riki as much as I can.

He's like the Tf2 Spy, and as you can see he's my favorite class :<

He is a hard carry. He spends most of the game farming. Otherwise he is too squishy. If you just go around scouting with him with the occasional gank you arent playing Riki correctly.

Why can't you have a carry play as a support, and have ANTHER person play the hard carry? Riki doesn't need items to scout, place wards, and disable via his silence. Is he no good as a support since he has no hard disable?


Also, drunk idea age. Use Kickstarter to raise money for the Prize Pool for an open entry tournament, try and grow the community and stuff. I don't know, I haven't though very much. Call it the NeoGAF Open if Evilore would allow, maybe do the ballsy thing of letting any team that plays at least one game actually walk away with a prize (Maybe do something like a $10 entry fee, $15 last place prize), do something like Double Elimination. Along with getting the money, you would need someplace to host the main site, some people to admin and stream the game, maybe some commentators. This is just going to look nonscense when I sober I bet.

I've played Riki scouting and killing people at level 9 and carried just fine, if I farm well enough to get Treads early. His ultimate makes him especially good for ganking, because most teams won't sentry the lane that he isn't in.

He's pretty boring to just static farm with, especially when you can do so much with Cloud level 1.

I didnt mean static farm but if you want to be useful in team fights or actually take people down solo youll want some health and some agi. Of course he'll pub stomp if no one bothers to buy wards or dust.

I just need to play more pub games and remember what items to get. That and pretty much every hero that was banned that game was what I knew how to play (ES, Furion and VS especially I remember those were there). Also last time I played DOTA there weren't runes yet or the courier so I still had that stupid habit of walking back to spawn to buy stuff.

Not many people are going to waste a dust on the chance Riki is there if their laning, just roam at 8 and setup ganks with cloud.

I've done it as early as treads / poor man's. Especially useful when people are in your lane trying to oppose your farm, they call miss but your invisible to wards so no one knows where your going.

Easily my favorite thing about playing Lich is the fact that his attacks are so strong, it's just too much fun when playing him. Also his ability to deny heroes their creep kills is awesome while at the same time preparing you to be a killing machine.

Sounds like something is seriously wrong with these inhouses if this is happening... At least with the mid matchup teams (in inhouses) should make sure that's even -_-; either two newbies or two veterans.

Names like Mirana and Lina are crap since they have nothing to do with what the hero is about. That's my way of thinking, the names should indicate the skills or background of the hero. Not a big thing, but it's strange to have something like Warlock next to Joe-Bob.

Even though Togglesworlh went overboard and is just joking, those names are still much better than say Sven. Just flip them around and make Mirana potm, or the other way around and give each dude a name. Now it's a mix with no logic. Yeah, who cares about the names but since it was brought up.

I think Sven is a cool name. Although I would rather they did the full name for every character, like Sven the Rogue Knight. Although I'm sure they can't do a lot of names because of trademark issues, which is why we get names like Death Prophet, etc.
