The game looks and plays fantastic, and Chuck Norris jokes were legitimately funny on first blush. That game just runs the gamut of dating itself horribly with its humor. When auto-tune becomes passe and someone has to say, "remember when" instead of "you know how" to explain why a pimp sounds that way...I'd bet the game won't be as deserving of the phrase "you have to play SRIII" (which parallels "you have to hear this new Chuck Norris Joke)
 
erik wolpaw's list contains god hand and a mention of ghost trick, best list on the site, all other lists are garbage

No Puzzle Agent 2 for most disappointing or runner up?

I wonder if it gets brought up on the podcast. Big step down from the first game. I still loved the story and characters but the puzzles were terrible. Even more disappointing given that they brought on a "puzzle expert" for the game.

Granted I'm just angry because I was playing it last night. FUCK YOU SPACE RACCOON PUZZLE!!!! WORST USE OF SPACE IN 2011!!

Also, the Witcher 2 looks so so much better than the other games in the best looking category, amazing. It's really pushing me towards upgrading my graphics card just to play it in all its glory.

The first game was already pretty bad aside from the atmosphere. I didn't have any expectations for the sequel.
 
Saint's Row the Third will be GOTY. I think we can all see that now. That's three of the six that had it as their personal GOTY.


More interesting to me? No Skyrim on Vinny's list.

And, yeah, Vinny's description of Dark Souls is my favorite part of this year's GOTY events. Oh GOD I fucking HATED that part.
 
Did not see that coming either.
No Skyrim on Vinny's list because he played the two superior medieval fantasy RPGs of this year.
 
LA Noire getting more love. I didn't think Vinny liked it that much.

And I agree, SR3 is their GOTY at this rate.

Puzzle Agent 2 wasn't that bad. I enjoyed it.
 
I had a feeling Vinny would have Saints Row the Third high on his list and I'm not surprised that he didn't have Skyrim there at all. When I was trying to decide on my list of staff number ones, I looked at everyone's achievements and noticed he stopped playing Skyrim, early, to play Saints Row the Third, and it looked like he played a ton of it, in a short period of time. It appeared like he never went back to Skyrim. I, ultimately, thought he would have the Witcher 2 as his number one because I thought the whole Witcher 1 and 2 experience would just roll up into Witcher love.
 
I really need to play the Witcher series and Bastion.

But not right now because Saints Row is owning my life

Its a great game don't get me wrong but I don't think it's in my top 5 like everyone else.

Also the Saints row 3 love is insane just because the 2nd is a better game.
 
Vinny's list is the most surprising one so far and that's mostly because Vinny is not excessively euphoric when he talks about games on the Bombcast. I like that.
 
Just finishing up yesterday's podcast... was Wip3out the first game to use a 3 in place of an E in the title? It came out in September 1999.

I need to get around to playing Clash of Heroes. Got it on the XBLA sale a while back and need to play it.

Alex and Vinny were hard to predict for me. I'm gonna assume most people got Vinny's #1 wrong for that contest.
