Yeah, but the shot in the trailer is probably the sexiest shot of its exterior. The chase scene it's used in is cool, but mostly shot from the interior of the car.

we didn't name him, and the name can still be changed if we want to. we picked him because we thought it was funny how his name is so similar to my husband's online handle (jarosh). it's just his "official" name (he's a purebred) and that name and full title are what goes into his family tree.
our other cat is actually named alyosha, but we call him yoshi.
if anyone has suggestions for nicknames for "janosh", i'm all ears!
edit: the "j" is pronounced like a "y", you know, german language and all that.

Absolutely. I can call my cat by name from the next room and he'll come. If he's near, I can say his name and he'll meow at me.

yeah, yoshi knows his name and will come when called as long as he isn't sleeping. besides his name he also knows a few other words/phrases. i.e. when i say "want a treat?" he runs to the kitchen where the treats are kept.
he mostly just really likes being talked to. you can say anything to him, as long as you look at him and talk he'll start to purr.

Just made some major changes to my schedule for this semester. I really didn't like the direction I was going (computer science), so I dropped computer science II, calculus II, and animal biology and replaced them with British lit, astronomy, and a philosophy class. Feels good man.

Yep, even something like 'Dr. Felix' which is what we call our cat.
The only cat I've ever owned that didn't know his name was Nacho.
I live with three.
There's Tsarmina, my brother's cat, who was named after a Redwall villain and is pretty mean and nasty.
Then there are Toby and Tiger, who are really nice. Toby is obese. Tiger is rather aloof, as we rescued him from the garden when he was a kitten. Actually, Toby was also a stray kitten, but he's adjusted to indoor life a lot better.
The neighbors used to have a few un-neutered outdoor cats who churned out kittens every so often. Every so often I'll see a feral cat that looks like a skinny version of one of our own - undoubtedly a litter mate. Sad to think that some of them are probably dead by now. We have a few coyotes in our neighborhood, so feral cats might not have the best time of it.

on the topic of pets, does anyone here have an axolotl? i really want to buy one but will probably have to wait until i move because our apartment gets too hot in the summer for axolotls. 
I knew that name sounded familiar. When I read it I thought, that name... I know that name! Mossflower is my favorite in the series.
I'll have to find some cat pictures later. Unfortunately my cat is almost 100% black so it's really difficult to take decent pictures of her. She always fades into herself and creates a black hole :<

Actually, I haven't kept a cat since my last one, Lily, died three years ago (2 years old, liver failure =(). However, all of my roommates since then, with one exception, have had at least two cats. So, since I was seven, I've lived without cats for a total of like five months. As soon as I can afford to house them, I'll seek out a couple to live with.
Cats are the best.
