The DJ is Mine is decent. The one without the sk3wl g1rlz, obviously. Banger.
Bang & ZELO - Never Give Up is much better after a few more plays. BAK INDA SKOO
Hoi Hoi is soooooo damn catchy. I always made sure to yell the red sun parts. Overall though, I like it.
Roly Poly (areia remix) - oh man, didn't know this existed until a few hours ago. Soooo good. Also a banger.

Jisooks mic definitely sounded bad. The yellow one had some issues too, but Seungah sounded fine to me.

I'm really liking the song. It's catchy, and the girls are pretty. Two most important factors to kpop since I can't speak Korean. I could do without the bangs though.

But can someone explain to me what the purpose of a sub group is? Why not have all of Rainbow do the song? Are they giving the other 4 girls a vacation or something?

I guess that's part of it. It's also just an efficient and safe way to spread the footprint, so to speak, of the group - Rainbow still get credit and recognition for it, but people think of it as something new and different.

Even if Hoi Hoi is pretty damn Rainbowish.
 
Yeah. A group develops their own identity and it has to be carefully evolved, yet they could possibly reach new demographics if they did something new and some of the members might be anxious to try something new. Sub-units are perfect for this for two reasons. First, three people is less intimidating with really experimental concepts. Like, if all of After School had done the Orange Caramel concepts, that would have just been too much on stage. Secondly, if it succeeds, that strengthens your franchise, and if it fails, it's written off as an experiment.

I just watched the first episode of SBS drama "History of the Salaryman" - which has to got to be one of the looniest and best openings to a drama ever. If this goes down the shitter around the middle, like every other drama, I'm going to be seriously disappointed.
