Everything is systemic from a lack of pressure, i.e. no Cullen Jenkins.I just don't get how the defense fell off so much from one year to the next :/

He opened up things for:
1. Matthews
2. OLB opposite Matthews
3. Other lineman
Less pressure = more time in coverage. Despite having one of the best secondaries in the NFL, you can't cover for infinite amounts of time.
Injury to Nick Collins hurt badly too. If you have a good enough pass rush, you can have average safety play.
Morgan was hit or miss whereas Charlie Peprah is just awful. More often than not "the big play" was given up because of him.
Collins covered up those deficiencies. He has great football instincts and a nose for the ball.
Opportunistically below average is a perfect descriptor. I just don't get how the defense fell off so much from one year to the next :/
Has a doctors appointment in 2 months so he'll know for sure before the Draft. It's just crazy to me that one guy can do so much for a defensive. Has there been an new news about collins lately? Is it career ending or will he be back next year?
Same thing he always does - take a couple busts and a few good players.I wonder what TT does this year in the draft.

Why?Elway confirmed Tebow as Denver starter in training camp.
Great news for San Diego, Oakland and Kansas City?
Why?
Tebow has shown character and commitment to being great, despite failing.
He helped turn around a garbage season and helped get the team to the Divisional Round.
There aren't very many good QBs in the Draft and Fox likes building his team slowly.
No alternatives, stop being a fair-weather fan.
He's tier 2.
Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Peyton
Flacco, Sanchez, Eli, Rapist, Romo
I wonder why nobody really talks about the financial impact on a franchise with tebow either. This is a business after all. It seems (though it could be totally wrong) that tebow jersey sales, ticket sales, and all of the rest that comes with national hype has got to be worth asstons of money for denver. Has anyone out there ever done any math or looked at this?
lololol.
You forgot Tim Tebow, Matt Ryan, and Ryan Fitzpatrick if you wanted to make tier 2 the mediocre QB tier.
Well considering they didn't even sell out their last home game when they had a chance to get in the playoffs, I wonder how big an impact it's had and how much is ESPN being ESPN.
I really hope the Packers draft some pass rushers this year. The lack of any rush made every QB we played against look like Montana out there. Even when they blitzed they couldn't do anything.

I didn't know that, interesting.
Elway: hopeful Tebow can reach the level of Tom Brady. Maybe with a different style.
Was about to say that it's hard to find pass rushers in the 20s but then I remember Clay Matthews. I have no idea what kind of draft the one coming up is going to be in terms of positions (i.e. linebackers, offensive line, etc.)

What's this shit about the Chiefs I'm hearing now lol.
Nick Wright is talking about it on the radio here in KC now. Apparently Pioli was tapping the phones in the office or something dumb. Being accused of a felony..ugh Chiefs have 1 decent year and now we can't catch a break.
The refs will be against us, thats for sureLooks like mainstream media are slurping up the Giants and calling out the 49ers for not having a chance. 'Alex Smith can't do it.'
How to drop $240K without trying
» 1,086 miles to travel in a 70-foot RV
» 2 waitresses
» 3 TVs
» 26 bottles of champagne
» 65 Kobe beef burgers
» 100 gallons of beer
» 150 pounds of prime beef
» 10 live lobsters
» 6 seats on the 50-yard line
Has anyone been to a super bowl here? If the Giants make it I really want to attempt to go. I am looking at the flight prices right now and I'm almost convinced I'd be better off just driving out there (12 hrs from NY to Indy). It's almost $700 to fly in, which is stupid. I'd be ok with sitting in the damned last row.
I think my buddy that I go to all games with won't want to go... could be my biggest stumbling block.

Fuck the Ravens.

Man if the prices hold at $2k per ticket I'll have to pass as well. It'll be $3k by the time all is said and done if I drive there.
AFC championship game is the nastiest most vile shit infested excuse of a game I have ever seen. I hope both teams crush each other until no one is left standing and whoever wins that shitfest limps into the SB with key pieces missing. Skanks from New England or convicts from Baltimore. What a fucking game.
Do it. If they make it, you never know when they'll be back. And regardless, it'd be a good experience.Man if the prices hold at $2k per ticket I'll have to pass as well. It'll be $3k by the time all is said and done if I drive there.

...hell no , do you know how bad the broncos were before he got the starting job? Im sure Elway and company were ready to clean house Tebow included those were the previous regimes players. Tebow didnt just save his job this season. No matter how good you are the NFL is a league of mvp's, all americans, champions, and all pro's , so there will be a grind, and from what i see Tebow has that part down. I mean ...if Alex Smith can be what he is today then i can give Tebow some time, the team did get to the divisional round.
trade tim tebow for matt ryan straight up. we all win elway
denver seems to have a good OL. the atlanta OL is horrific. are you lifelonging my niners yankeehater? How does Denver win in that trade? Ryan has problems and he is surrounded by great talent on offense, if he was stuck with the Denver WRs he would be much worse.
