People seem to forget that the Patriots did not beat a team with a winning record ( no I don't count Denver) while Baltimore was 6-0 against playoff teams. How is this game being so unanimously decided already? I can't wait to give the media the dick and put Baltimore and our tiny fan base into the spotlight.

Ravens also lost to the Jaguars, Seahawks and Chargers on the road. They're an incredibly inconsistent team that was dog shit on the road this year.

This is true. We also beat Pitt and Cincy, two playoff teams, on the road. Who is the best team NE beat? The Jets? We beat them too.

I'm not saying we're going to cruise to a victory, but for NE to be getting this much love because they killed THE FUCKING TEBOWS and we won a close game with a legitimate team is ludicrous.

Plus, we may be inconsistent on the road, but why are you so sure the bad version is going to show?
 
Biggest concern for the Raven's should be covering the tight ends with the linebackers, since they're going to have to play a lot of nickle against the Pats. Lewis is a good tackler still, but his amazing speed he had in his prime is gone and he won't be able to keep up with either. Ravens should move the ball on New England's shitty defense though. Beating the Broncos down does not make me a believer in the defense.

It's a bad match up for Denver, and we had absolutely no answer for Gronk. To the Pats credit they did defeat Denver when they had winning records both times. 8-5 in the first loss, and 9-8 in the second. We are not a bad team, we just simply were outschemed, out executed, and Brady know how to dismantle the holes in the defense. I'm not going to use the injury excuse, because I don't think it would have mattered much. We are a mediocre team that got beat by a significantly better team at this point. THE FUCKING TEBOWS are not as terrible as you make them out to be. Young and inexperienced maybe, but not terrible.

You're right! The Broncos aren't terrible. Tebow is.
 
Bah, I'm prepared for anything but another SB loss against the Giants. We rode our schedule to the Championship Game. With the way our D has played all season, we shouldn't even be here, and I'm glad that we got a playoff win and a great game on both sides out of it.

Although if the Pats lose this, all my hopes suddenly rest on Alex Smth's shoulders, and I'd rather not risk that.

So GO PATS! Show old man Ray what it feels like getting murdered!

You can hate Tebow for whatever reasons you want, but he got too much blame and credit for losses and wins. Brady and those TEs wrecked that defense, twice. If you aren't having cold sweats at the thought of Pollard trying to cover one of those guys, you should

Schottenheimer runs his offense based on the team he wishes he has instead of the team he actually has. Back in 2008 with Brett Favre struggling/injured down the stretch and the AFC's leading rusher in Thomas Jones, Schottenheimer continued to lean on the passing game. I can't count how many times the Jets put five receivers on the field on third and short.

Schottenheimer plays to his weaknesses instead of his strengths to try and trick the opponent. Take the Jets' game against the Giants this year. Mark Sanchez couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. The Jets were blowing the Giants off the ball in the run game. Schottenheimer thought it was a good idea to have a 3/1 pass/run ratio. The past few years, the Jets have been a ground and pound team, but that only came because Rex Ryan stepped in and demanded Schottenheimer pound the football because the team was throwing it too much.

Schottenheimer doesn't get his best playmakers involved in the offense. During collapses in 2008 and 2011 with the offenses struggling, the biggest homerun threats the Jets had, Leon Washington and Joe McKnight, barely saw the field.

Schottenheimer runs a highly complicated offense based on elaborate pre-snap motion that seems to have limited effect aside from confusing his own players.

Well that's like your opinion man.

Joking aside, I would partially agree with you. Some games he was serviceable to good. Others he was down right terrible. Not to make this about Tebow, but the defense gave him a shot in some of those games and he put the team in position to win.

Besides that I think that the Ravens have a good chance to win. I don't believe that the Pats defense is any better outside of getting injured players back. You saw a lot of the same things in Week 15 against Denver that you saw Saturday night. It's just a matter of time before they are exposed in my opinion.

Brady and Mallett are both due for a contract in 2014. What do you do? Assuming Brady is still healthy I think you have to hang on to him. Mallett then becomes either a high price backup or a free agent, or they could even trade him before that time. Interesting to see what happens.

Trade him to the Bucs, he'll be the third-stringer behind Freeman and Flynn.
 
What a great couple of games.

NE vs Bal: I like them both. But, have to go with NE. With brady and the Mich connection. But I think Bal is going to give them all they got.

SF VS Giant: Hate them both. But, I wont mind seeing giants win. I am convereted about ELI. I still cant stand him but he is for sure cluth. No matter how his team wins. I now have to give eli some credit.

Eh, hard to say the Rams offense is going to go backwards looking at it this year. Bradford already looked like one of the worst qbs in the league (with Gabbert really only being worse unless I'm missing someone). McDaniels system just was not a good fit for the Rams personnel.

Have you watched the Jets this year? There are at least 20 posters on this board that could call a better game. Watch him make Bradford pass 70 times against the Giants pass rush.
