McD is an infinitely better OC then Schotty. The Rams offense is going to go backwards.

Well Shurmur was a better coordinator than McDaniels, so the downward spiral continues. Now, the caveat there is that Shurmur was able to take very unskilled players and get something but not much, whereas McD took very unskilled players and got nothing. Maybe with very skilled players McD would be better than Shurmur. But it seems like Shotty and McD get married to their scheme and can't adapt to bad personnel

One of the things being trotted out locally to defend Shotty is the RZ improvement, which appears to be based on bringing in Tom Moore. Surely Fisher could have looked a bit harder? Maybe talked to some college guys?

Hey NFL GAF I bought a new car!!

avenger.jpg

2011 Dodge Avenger Heat. 280hp V6, full touchscreen entertainment center, all powered, sunroof, 18 inch wheels.

Got a great deal since it was a 2011 but brand new.

Wow looks great. Congrats dude, the 280 hp must be fucking awesome.

The slants thing is kind of funny, b/c it was a running joke that the Rams never threw them against the blitz. Then we all figured out that not a single WR could beat press man :(

On the one hand I am happy for you guys because of the full decade of being irrelevant. Nice to have another one of the prime NFL franchises back.

On the other hand:

I'm hoping your season ends Sunday and the recent streak of the refs trying to screw us ends.

The Rams crappy coordinators should cancel out their high-caliber head coach. Five more years of being NFC West doormats, coming up.

I am so excited for Sunday because of how much history there is between our two franchises. What's cool too is the Giants probably have the classiest fans here (aside from a drunk you, of course).

Oh by the way,

It was an illegal man downfield, how can he be interfered with if he can't legally catch a pass? Right call!

I'm also not sold on Fisher being a "high caliber" head coach. He was pretty much the definition of mediocre. Greg Williams is also one of the worst D-coordinators in the league, someone here said he was the Mike Martz of DC's? Brilliant.

p.s. Ignore cuevas, he has been calling for our demise since week 7.

Is this how Packer fans are dealing with the loss? Watching a TV show with JJ Abrams involved? I'm so sorry.

Super 8 was great though.

Super 8 was garbage and I asked if it was JJ ABrams because it had about 300 lens flares in the graphic

Jesus 49er fans are fucking dense errr I mean bless you child God loves you <3

I will never live that down. :(

The penalties should have offset and we should have re-kicked!

I'll be honest....Giants matchup worries me greatly. Not only is Eli on top of his game, but during the last meeting the Giants rushing offense wasn't exactly shut down. Hopefully the defense really steps up. But what would really help is if the offense completes 3rd downs at a better rate. The 2-12 on 3rd down just isn't going to cut it...

i wouldn't say it was shut down, but i wouldn't say they ran all over us either. less than 3 YPC... i'll take that every time. hell, run for 150 yards if that's going to be your YPC!

but yes, this is going to be a tough game no matter how you look at it.

I don't know shit about lens flare, so maybe I am dense. Nice edit. <3

The main thing I'm worried about is our defense has broke down late in games twice in the past three weeks. We really need to work on our late game execution, no hero ball.

And you should have.

5 turnovers?
Need last minute td.

You still mad? Maybe next year Hanie will lead you to the playoffs, he's almost Tebow good right?

did we win or not? this is why the bears are a loser franchise. all they can do is make excuses as to why other teams win and why they lose! "bu bu bu bu bu bu u got 5 turnovers and only won by 4! that wont happen again!"

i said it before and i'll say it again: much rather have people making excuses for our wins than having to make excuses for our losses :D

I hope the NYG/SF game is a good one. I hope the winner of that game utterly humiliates whatever fucktard team comes out of the AFC.

My wife is a Giant fan so I guess I'll cheer for them. She cheers for the Steelers for me, so I gotta step up.

As for the AFC, I've already shared my thoughts in sort of disgusting detail. Go Mayans!

As a lifelong 9ers fan it really pains me to say this but that Eagles team is going to be great next year. Hell we got so lucky to beat them this year.

we also got lucky that kevin kolb was injured in our 1st game against the cards. he beat us in the 2nd game (started the game and got the official W!) so i'm really worried about kolb going into next season

You are preaching to the choir. I really hope my 9ers can win it all this year since the Cards and Seachickens both are on the upswing. The window is closing fast. Plus with the Eagles running away with the NFC next year, everyone else will be playing for 2nd place.

:JNC

Speaking of Eagles, take a look at this astonishing fact:

In the Philadelphia game in week 3 alone, Cruz had a two TDs that covered a combined 102 yards. Those 102 yards were longer than all of the length of every single TD Steve Smith scored to that point in his career put together, in 4 years.

Wow.

I said this when the 49ers hired Harbaugh. There's no upgrade like getting rid of an awful coach.

This is truth being spoken.
edit: I might have to change back to my Packers Jon Snow / Bran avatar. I can't look at the team name right now without getting down.

Don't worry too much. The Gints have a shorter week to prepare, had to fly home and then have to fly back across the country. This is definitely to our advantage. I also see them doubling VD a lot which should open up the rest of the field. Nobody's got it better than us.

You 49ers fans are so naive. Bears got to the super bowl and all the bad things that plagued em and people said would catch up to them came to fruition, same thing last year. And that's just one team in the past few years. But yeah, you guys are the exception. Get your super bowl replica rings ready
