It's adorable how you do this. All the boasting, the fuck this fuck that and fuck you's after a win. Then after a loss you come stumbling back in with your hat in hand all humble and modest.

You don't know how to win with any class. You've lowered yourself down to the level of Pittsburgh and Green Bay fans. You're dirtbaggin it. When the Bucs win the Super Bowl next year I'm going to have to show all of you how it's done. All classy and shit

How long have you been watching sports? Class is boring.

I hear cancer survivors walk pass ARod now.

Anyone on giants gaf wants to do avatar bet until end of Super Bowl?

Just pointing out that the 49ers got fortunate with the Thomas injury. If Vernon Davis got hurt in the first quarter, I would have said the Saints got fortunate. Key players don't usually leave the game after the first drive, so that was a lucky break for the 49ers.

I just had to comment on this. It's one thing if he was hurt the week before and never got a chance to play, it's another when the Niners knocked him out. Anything else after that is irrelevant. Donte Whitner laid his ass out and eliminated him.

That's my biggest concern for the Giants this coming weekend. Since the Victor Cruz 99 yard play, the team raised it's level of physicality and is just beating the shit out of everyone and we won't be able to do that against the Niners. Gonna be a tough road to hoe.

AHEM!

Tell me that any of those were blown calls.

What about the final scoring play of SB43?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Gs5IARvyZg&t=5m52s (ignore the music, but the other YouTube vids of this look like they were recorded with a potato).

Watch when NBC zooms in on Homes' feet. They were clearly in bounds, and he did one of the best toe taps I have ever seen in my life. He said he never left the ground at any time, and after seeing how good NBC was at showing us that, I believe him. Too bad they got rid of him a season or so later.

Did you miss the part where I said the Seahawks made mistakes that cost them the game.

The refs had an impact on that game, even if you don't want to admit it.

Like when they called Hasselback going low on that INT, even though he hit the guy with the ball.

Or Ben's first TD, where the ball never broke the plane of the endzone.

The Steelers outplayed Seattle that game, but to deny that the refs didn't play a part is being ignorant.

As for the Arizona game, people say the refs blew that game as well (they didn't), but Arizona wins if Warner doesn't throw that pick 6.

Guys guys guys Antonio Pierce knows how the Ravens stop the two TE set of the Patriots. Play zone. :jnc

Yeah good luck stopping Welker in a zone bro.

You sound like Tom.

"We're only going to score 17 points? Haha, ok."

Giants fan, give me this week before I start hating on you :).

But seriously I just think it's an asinine comment. The Steelers and Giants showed how you beat the Patriots and it's not with fucking zone.

Sssssssssst!

Man, I hope the Ravens don't take Pierce his advice and start playing zone all day long. Just look at the success it brought the Broncos.

It really depends on the personnel. I'm not so sure the Ravens have the DB's to hang with them, so their best bet is to be aggressive up front, e.g. guys like Suggs, Ngata, Lewis.

I'm gonna quit watching the NFL if the Ravens win this year. Awesome D is always nice to watch, but the offense. My God.

And it's not even like they don't have any talent. Flacco is imho (potentially) awesome, Rice is a beast and the Receivers good to great. So why in the world are they sometimes so incredibly horrible to watch?

im watching part of the ravens Americas Game.... why does ray lewis talk like this?

"When we started the game <long pause> we said <pause> no first downs.
And after EVERY play <long pause> we said <pause> we're not done"

Every time he pauses he is trying to decide if he wants to stab you or not. The answer is always yes. The extra half second pause is when he determines if he actually will or not.

No sir, that is adorable.

Cam Cameron and Ugly Fucking Mustaches.

Because Flacco is decidedly not awesome and their receivers are average and have no consistent deep threat. Boldin is awesome but slow as shit, Lee the Legend disappears for months at a time and Torrey sometimes struggles with his non-go routes, which makes him tough for a static-statue like Flacco to target.

The ravens are the least evil franchise, and Larry needs a little happiness in his life. Go ravens !

While I really like the Giants (not in the fan sense, in the I like the way they play sense) and they remind me a ton of last years Packers (their story, not their style...though that too a little) I want a Fuck You Goodell bowl so badly.

Small injury update coming into practice tomorrow:

Victor Cruz has a quad injury and not a knee issue as was mentioned during the broadcast. It's a minor problem that's being iced down and should not affect his status for the game.

Chris Canty who did have a knee issue that forced him to be carried off the field appears to be fine. He came into the facility yesterday with no noticeable limp and they didn't even have to do an MRI. He status should be a go as well (which is huge as he's big part of the pass rush!).

Mark Herzlich has a good chance to return this week as well from his ankle injury. I don't think he'll get much in the way of reps at linebacker but he'll be sure to get some time on the field on special teams.

1. it wasn't a fluke injury or something weird. he got knocked the fuck out BY A 49er on a perfectly timed hit
2. lulz at comparing a role player like thomas to VD. a more fair comparison would be delaine walker. delaine walker wasn't playing, he's a big part of our offense. saints got lucky he was injured
If that hit was by James Harrison half of GAF would be crying that he should go to jail. When it is another player it is a good hard clean hit!

Fuck you Goodell!

I really hope the Giants win if the Pats win btw, I can't see the Niners beating the Pats. But really i don't give a fuuuuuuuuck who wins as long as it isn't NE. I would rather take another decade of FMT bragging about 6 SB wins and 0 losses then ever see Tom Brady crying while he struggles to lift another Lombardi....

You know, I never expected anything from the Pats this year (and still don't), but I reeeeeally want them to win the SB just for your reaction. GOOOOOOO PATS

You are a sick fuck.

I think I might quit the NFL if the Pats win it again. I can't bear the idea of hearing those retarded fucks @ ESPN comparing Brady to Joe Montana and having 100 debates on who is better.

Even the Ravens?

So in the 3 games against teams with good pass rush this year, the patriots put up 20, 16, and 17 points. But I'm supposed to think they're gonna blow out the ravens???

I hope Vegas feels the same overconfindence because I'm gonna make bank when we re enact the last matchup we had in the playoffs.

I'm hoping the over.under holds at 50 (where it started) because I'm under that all day long. I'm guessing it will be down to around 47 when I get there on Saturday.

Miami and the Broncos were hovering around the top 10 all year in sacks. Philly, a team they put up 38 points against, was tied for first in the league.

Meanwhile the Ravens have played two decent passing offenses. They dominated the Steelers and got crushed by the Chargers.

Who are you?

GTFO, if they win another Superbowl I'll probably end up in prison. The only thing keeping me sane is Modell not getting into the Hall of Fame.

1, I've been here longer than you. 2, you didn't refute anything I said. What did they do against the cowboys steelers and giants?? What's your excuse??

Don't bother sacks are the only measure of defense that's relevant, and the Patriots put up 38 points on Philly!

I mean, New England's scheme has completely changed! Blowing out the Broncos means Superbowl. How do you stop two tight ends? Answer: you don't. 45 points and third down punts all day long baby

PATRIOTS YEAAAAA

How would you like a Giants-Patriots Super Bowl?

It'd bore me to death because the Pats would just get destroyed.

I don't think most of us are thinking about anything past the Niners game.

A rematch would be nice, but I'll think about it if we take care of business in San Fran first. That game is gonna be tough.

Thanks for the injury report, futurevoid. Hoping Canty is at 100% for the game.

1. It was a joke. 2. You said against the 3 teams with pass rushes, I directly refuted this by saying that they were successful against other teams with pass rushes. You're just being selective to make your point seem valid.

What's my excuse? I don't need an excuse, I'm a fan. I watch the games. What's your excuse for the Ravens losing to the Jaguars? Exactly it doesn't matter at all.

Larry > you

Why don't you post some other statistics then?

Jesus why don't you get some tequila to drown out all that salt.

Just got back from Charleston, SC. Great city to visit. Great restaurants, history, and culture to experience.
Fantastic game by the Giants, exploited the weaknesses of the Packers very well.
Ravens-Texans was a game of which offense messes up the least. Not a good harbinger of playoff success for the Ravens.

I have to think at this point, this will be a replay of the Giants-Pats in the Superbowl. But I think the 49ers-Giants game will be a 3-7 point game. The deciding factor will be the Giants platoon of RB's. They will wear down the SF DL/LB's.

Even the Ravens?
Seeing a bum like Flacco winning a Superbowl would break my heart, but anything is better then seeing the Pats win another one.

In a perfect world some meteor would fall from the sky and vaporize everyone @ Foxboro and the winner of the NFC Championship game would win by default, but we don't live in a perfect world and we have to make some tough choices sometimes.
