Batman AC is pretty good bros. Been playing for a while and I'm getting more and more into it. The only thing that sucks is like I had said before in like week 14, my PC is showing it's age. Had to turn damn near every effect off. -_-

Now that the new video cards are out, prices should get driven down pretty well.

I'm likely doing Batman AC -> Sonic Generations -> attempt to get back to Skyrim or just finally play Mass Effect 2. Anything good coming out in spring?

I'm playing Batman AC right now too. Not sure that its better than Batman AA, I think they are both good at different things. My main complaint would be that what is masquerading as metroidvania gameplay is really just holding back certain gameplay mechanics from the player in order to make them backtrack later and artificially extend the games playtime.

Up next is Deus Ex: HR. I've already played through most of it once and it was fantastic until the last level.

Crusader Kings 2 out in February!!

I've lost pretty much all interest in video games.

I think it's going to take new consoles for me to care again.

Same. I'll probably grab a new game here and there, but I'll wait for the next console to spend any kind of cash again.

If you have a device favored by beret wearing French douchebags, pick up hero academy for free. Blue max is currently destroying me.

Next gen will interest me eventually but we're probably 3 years from anything good coming out.

I'm still holding out a delusional hope that Sports Champions 2 will be made for PS3.
Godgers I love the first game. So amazing.

NFL GAF, tell me why I should pc game over console? Serious question, do you use a controller, or is it a joystick or keyboard?

For me the Steam sale and Humble Bundles have made me appreciate PC gaming. Most of the games I have played recently are with a wired 360 controller. I still buy console games from time to time, but I rarely end up finishing them.

Completely different boat. ME1 was beyond terrible to the point that I couldn't finish the game. ME2 was one of my favorite games from the last several years.
The shooting mechanics were much improved but at the expense of no RPG elements, a worse story, and pandering ass shots that make everyone who isn't 15 at heart cringe.

It didn't have space driving though. That was the primary factor for me uninstalling that game. I always mean to go back to give it another shot, but that portion of the game is unbearable.

BTW I am also considering switching the Bengals to a 3-4 in the MaddenGAF. I have Keith Rivers, Rey, Manny Lawson, Thomas Howard, and this one awesome rookie LB. I could use Domata Peko as my NT, but Dunlap and Michael Johnson would not make good 3-4 ends.

I'm also going to change my playbook on O.

PC.

Steam, games look better than consoles, no need to fuss with discs, I use a controller anyway where it's better.

That's true. They were bad. I just didn't have that much of a fun time with ME2.

Seems people just wanted to like it because it was Bioware.

Kissing those rings.

I've been dreading asking this....

What is Steam?

Mass Effect 3 definitely. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning most likely as well.

One of these will likely be able to tear me away from Skyrim. Maybe.

Yeah, I had a great time with that as a party game. It would be interesting to see what they could come up with now that the tech has been out there for a while.

My friends couldn't get enough of the table tennis game on there, but I'm a bit of a table tennis snob in real life (tournaments and such), so it was never fun for me.

Feel free to toss Dunlap my way when you switch.

I used to be pretty solid at PING PONG (hate "table tennis" it's like "porsche-a" I know it's wrong but just hate hoe it sounds), so no disagreement there.

I like disc golf the best. By far.

I thought it was a good time, looking forward to the next one. Still need to get into SWtOR more as well. So far that has been a pretty good time as well.

The last PC game I played was Indiana Jones and The Secret of Atlantis.

It was awesome when I was 11

I don't have a gaming capable PC. I'm hoping to save up enough $ to buy a decent laptop when Diablo III comes out. But of course I'd also like to upgrade my iPad. I'm torn.

Completely different boat. ME1 was beyond terrible to the point that I couldn't finish the game. ME2 was one of my favorite games from the last several years.

I thought ME1 was ok. Obviously heavier on the RPG elements but the combat was meh. I loved ME2. RPG elements stream-lined (perhaps too much, I agree) but the combat was so much better. I pretty much rushed through ME1 to get the story done with, but I played ME2 a ton. What I loved was that decisions made in the first one had impact in the second one. Really one of the first times that I felt a game made use of the current gen beyond just graphics.

Steam is:

1) An online store. http://store.steampowered.com They are constantly having absurd sales. You will spend hundreds of dollars on games you will never actually play.

2) An single launcher that you can launch, install, or uninstall all of your games that you purchased from the steam store, or games that contain steamworks.

3) A crappy social network a la XBL.

4) A DRM.

One of these days. I will have a machine that can play games.

How much would a laptop be that can play games on par or maybe one half notch higher than consoles? And yes, I said laptop on the premise that I don't have a desk/surface for a desktop.

Eh I'm probably better off waiting til I can afford a desk, then get a tower

Regarding Nolan, I've been reading up on him, and it looks like we'll be seeing more man. That's probably bad news for Grimes, but great news for Dunta who's been out of place in our zone scheme.

He has a reputation as a judicious blitzer, and he did a greatjob providing one-on-one isolations for Wake on obvious passing downs with a lot of stunts in the interior and ignoring lanes.

you're in for a disappointment if you expect pressure from nolan. i'm not saying he is a total shit coordinator but he's not good in my opinion. for instance, the only reason patrick willis was starting for us was because derek smith got hurt.

nolan is stubborn and has stupid ass packages like the big nickle.... his D will rarely give up big plays, instead just letting the other team dink and dunk all the way down the field. his defenses were always HORRIBLE against screen passes as well.

but maybe i'm just a bitter ex lover dissing on nolan now that i found the new hotness jim harbaugh!

Can the Giants be stopped? Unknown. Can Antrel Rolle stop talking? Not even remotely possible.

Rolle, the safety who's gone from tasty barbecue to functional piece of a strong defense, already made it clear he believes the Giants are a team of destiny. Now's he's turning his attention to comments made by 49ers tight end Vernon Davis, who said last weekend he hoped -- quite understandably -- the Giants would beat the Packers so the NFC Championship Game would be played in San Francisco.

Davis got the outcome he was looking for, of course, but Rolle has a word of warning for his Sunday opponent.

"They better be careful what they ask for," Rolle said Tuesday on WFAN-AM (via the New York Daily News). "Because their wish has been granted."

Rolle said he "can only hope" Davis said what he did on account of the home-field ramifications involved. Rolle followed that with another bravado-fest that sounded like the type of thing a professional wrestler would bark at "Mean" Gene Okerlund before the Royal Rumble.

"I don't give a damn who we're playing, man," he said. "That's my take. I'll take any opponent, any given day. That's my attitude. If someone has a problem with it, oh well. But that's how I am. That's how I was raised. I don't shy away from any opponent. My heart doesn't pump any Kool-Aid, only blood. I'm ready for whenever, however, whatever, however it gets to me. I'm ready for it."

(Rolle then drifted into an inflamed dream state, where he climbed to a top turnbuckle and delivered a flying elbow drop on Cris Collinsworth.)

are the 49ers not aware that the giants can't be beat? why are we even playing this game? just don't hurt any of our players antrel. just take your superbowl berth and leave us be :(

Fisher did an interview today after his press conference, and he actually said "you can't fit square pegs into round holes. We'll adapt our schemes to the personnel." I almost cried.
