Seems like something only useful if you have multiple systems. It's nice for consoles, but if I do get a Vita I certainly won't be getting more than one.

I've seen some fans do some despicable crap and get reported to security and next thing you know the police show up with security and promptly toss the offending jerk.

Gimmickry isn't a bad thing. It's just unrealistic to sell hardware on that aspect alone. I bought a 3DS for instance because it has games I like, not 3D games.

Same with Transfarring. It's nice and i'm sure people will take advantage of it, but it's not going to sell Vita's to otherwise uninterested people.

Agree 100%. I always find a great deal when I am ready to upgrade but this whole 3D BS is keeping the prices inflated and I can not get a new one. Good thing my last TV, Sony Bravia 55" SXRD is still running strong and looks great.

Ive been at the stadium for Bears games and Ravens games both of whom have a shitload of traveling fans. Several bears fans got thrown out for starting shit. They were pathetic, after the game that they lost, one "lady" was yelling 85! WE WON IN 85!


You guys can not believe me all you want, but you can wear any other teams jersey to the stadium and almost no one is going to give you shit for it. And if they start cursing at you they will get thrown out.

That's my problem as well, I kinda want a Vita, but I know it'll just end up covered in dust on a shelf next to my PSP. I'm not gonna play on it when using the train or anything, I'll bring it with me when I'm flying somewhere, but that is once a month/every two months tops and even then I use it for an hour.

When the 3D effect is done well I really like it, but 99/100 times only the animation movies like How to Train your Dragon are done well, also looking forward to seeing Finding Nemo in 3D. But with movies like Drive Angry and The Darkest Hour the 3D adds nothing. Don't own a 3D TV myself, but played Gran Turismo 5 at a friends place and that was really cool, but don't know if I'll ever buy one myself.

Films shot in 3D are generally quite good. Avatar, Transformers Dark of the Moon (some AMAZING 3D shots!) etc. Post conversions can die in a fire. 99% of them are generally shit and it's unfortunate that's what we see a majority of in theaters. A big reason why I don't care for it.

The reality is if you want the experience the highest quality "2D" picture TV's have to offer, you're inevitably going to get 3D along with it in the package. In some cases (Panasonic's current plasma line), the addition of 3D has helped to improve the quality and performance of the sets (fast burning phosphers for reduced IR, ultimate black panels and jittering reduction specifically to reduce 3D crosstalk). Prices will come down. They always do...

Nobody. I've lamented that both the AFCS and NFCW are basically dumping ground divisions that have no chance at ever developing lasting rivalries. It's more than being bad teams or having a singular dominant team. There's nothing non-football that ties the cities.
