Because it's your profile, so you get a chance to remember that "oh, that thing is a field and I haven't filled it out" instead of neglecting what's there and what's not. Your "N/A"s don't show up to me.
Ah that makes sense. Thanks.

I'd like to know the answer to this too. What would happen if you where able to shoot a taser into a power socket?
Anyone able to recommend a nice controller for PC that is similar in feel to a PS3 controller? Wired is fine, off brand is OK.
Why don't you just use your PS3 controller? There are ways to make it work.
You can use an actual PS3 controller on PC over USB. It's even possible to use MotionInJoy to get it recognized as a 360 controller by various games.
ITT = In This TopicWhat does ITT and RTTP mean on thread titles?
I know LTTP means "late to the party", but I just can't figure out the other two. Revisiting the party? Iterative thread title? help me ouuuuut
Or perhaps it's to just indicate those are special actors and/or actresses, and when they signed onto the movie their contract stated they would get a "and" or "with" in the credits to make them "special".
Are there any cloud/sharing sites for (python) code? I want to share and edit some code online but sites like codepad generate new links for each edit and googledocs messes up the formatting.
What's up with all the bannings on the gaming side?
Dropbox offer 2 GB accounts for free and it's easy to share specific folders with other people. Send me a PM if you want a referral and we'll both get 250 MB of bonus space. A 50 GB account is $9.99/month.I'm looking into hosting services so I can upload stuff for future projects and want others to be able to download my stuff.
Can anyone recommend a reliable host that doesn't charge too much?

There was an amazing art thread recently, with huge anime-like desktop big super-massive highly-detailed pictures. I just can't remember what kind of art it was. But definitely some kind of digital art. Anyone know where that thread is?
edit: Maybe even Japanese, but I'm not sure about this last clue.
Gotcha! Thanks! Was annoying me!CHEEZMO;34426780 said:The user Jakncoke would abuse the :lol smiley, so when it was removed people would put :jnc in his honour.
Or something like that anyway.

After it was removed, he kept using it by hosting the same smiley externally. For which he was temp-banned.
That's what led to the :jnc.
pastebin.com is pretty good, I've used it a few times for group work in uni.
Is 17 credit hours in college too much to also consider taking a part time job?
Really depends on the course material and how the whole day is laid out.
Would it be against the rules to make a "Welcome New Juniors" thread? I remember there being one when I got approved, but during the next wave one got locked.

Yeah, but if he's got 3-4hr long evening classes, he should be fine. That should leave at least a day or two plus the weekend free.
Dear GAF.
What is the best way to clean a LCD screen?
Can anyone tell me what's going on with all the avatars? Are people switching to their real life faces? If yes, why? Or am I just seeing things?
You're not just seeing things. Mods are doing it too. I don't know.
Does anyone know of a good program for keeping a to do list? I want something where when I think of something that's gotta get done in the near future I'll just enter it and then I can check it off later. I tried just using a Word doc for a while but I'd always end up not using it in the end. More or less I just want something I can refer to when I'm getting lazy to go accomplish something and keep track of my progress.
Try sticky notes on your desktop - that's what I did.
