Still havnt checked ESPN/NFL network. Hurts too much lol.

Plants vs Zombies has entertained me for the day so far -.-''

I watched some it it today and they made it sound like the 9ers gave the game away, what was the Giants supposed to do? make him fumble it and then let the 9ers recover? sheeeesh i think ESPN/NFLn wanted the brother bowl, not a SB rematch they have already seen...

Well it is finally time for revenge, not only for extraordinarily dedicated quarterback Tom Brady but head coach of the New England Patriots, Bill Belichick. The Patriots, winning eighteen games only to lose it all in the Super Bowl to the Giants, now have their chance to claim their revenge in a game that matters more than ever.

Here is to Tom Brady, best quarterback of all time (in consideration to his 3 rings, wins, 2007 season, modeling career, 20$ million dollar mansion, fucking multiple actresses and super models and having kids with a couple in between). And Bill Belichick, best head coach of all time (salary cap-era plus he is cooler). And lets not forget owner Robert Kraft, considered one of the best owners in history, making it to his fifth championship this year despite the passing away of his wife.
Well said! Cheers!

nah, it's the samething saints fans said. "well without the turnovers!" yeah without the turnovers the saints beat us. without the turnovers we beat the giants. point is they happened and they're a part of the game so it's just sour grapes when people use that excuse

The Rams owner is putting in a bid on the Dodgers. NFL rules forbid owners from owning another team in a different sport, if that team is in a different city. But if the Rams were in LA, then it's all okay.

Ultimately I don't care. I think it sucks for STL fans to have their team ripped from them, again. But if they are going to move, then LA is okay, since that's where the Rams really belong. The league will move the Jags to STL by 2020 anyway

I think the Jags lease prevents them from moving any time soon. As an observer, I think I'd rather see the Rams move there than the Raiders or even Chargers and their respective riff raff fanbases. Ultimately though, with how expensive the stadium in LA is going to be you might see two teams (Rams and Chargers?) share it.

LA doesn't want the fucking Rams.

Who does LA want really? Just a new expansion team? All my friends that like the raiders want them to come back. I assume there are still Rams fans around here.

I don't want the Chargers to come to LA. I drive down there for games. I want them to stay there. It's part of SD. I am not an LA native, but I would want a new expansion team here. Or the Jags.

I would feel bad if STL lost their team though.

but STL took the team from LA in the first place?

Not to toot my own horn,

but I deserve some sort of award for being a Panthers fan who's posted in every thread this season.

When you've been to the places we've been, when you've had heart torn out pick after motherfucking Jake Delhomme pick, when your defense gets ripped to shreds on a weekly basis, it's not an easy thing to do.

It's not FUCKING EASY, GODDAMNIT!

uh, yeah we have Redskin fans that are regulars here. Award? You don't get shit, bro.

Honestly, they wouldn't be happy with anything other than a team of their very own. IE an expansion team.

But realistically, they're going to get somebody's shitty leftover team (Rams, Chargers) that nobody around here gives 2 shits about. Then ticket sales are going to suck, and the stadium premium will force the team to move.

Again.

The Redskins beat us in their last Super Bowl appearance. FALL BACK SON.

poor baby

blah blah blah, if it's a fumble then we got our revenge for the shit that happen back in 03, so 9er fans we are FUCKING even....

kyle williams gave you guys two fumbles, plus that non-call fumble. but...

good luck to the giants, you guys deserved to win, and we didn't.

as if being a Panthers fan was so tough this year. You guys at least got to see Cam Newton. I ROOTED FOR JOHN BECK AND REX GROSSMAN. JOHN BECK AND REX GROSSMAN.

That's true. But I feel somebody is coming to LA in the future. Somebody is gonna have their heart broken, heh.

It terms of sympathy I would feel, it's the Chargers, STL, then the Jags.

I live in LA too,and I am a Charger fan and I don't want them to move up here.

Does anybody know if Vikings are still in play to move somewhere?

Best case is a new team for LA I think, if that would even happen.

Last I heard they were trying to work out a new deal with the city to get a stadium. Probably using LA as leverage to scare them into approving of funds. The Vikings are the only team I feel would be sad if they moved. That team has legit history, fanbase and rivalries in Minny and with the other NFC North teams.

At least you pay up on your avatar bets. I think you lost so many for weeks I thought you were relative of seachicken and keep switching teams.

...I think the Vikings/Bills/Brown/Bengals quadrangle of suck have it the worst. Sorry, Grover, but our teams were shitting the bed before yours even existed.

I mean, Tampa fucking Bay won a Super Bowl before these 4 teams who have been around pretty much since forever.

You can't explain that.

I don't think they will drive that story. Not enough drama behind it. You can only talk about how bad the Pats defense is before people get bored. I'm not sure what will stick, but the circus is just firing up. Can't wait...

It's been a popular story for the first 19 weeks of the season, what's two more?

if this were 2010 you'd have a case.

but STL took the team from LA in the first place?

It's sort of like Baltimore stealing the Browns. Sucked for Cleveland, but then Baltimore had the Colts stolen. STL had the football Cardinals bolt for Phoenix.

As far as the Rams in LA, they were in Anaheim. I can't remember if the Angels have built a new stadium, but they used to share a stadium in the 80s. The Rams couldn't sell out, even when consistently making the playoffs.

All the move stuff is so convoluted. The Jags can break their lease if they can demonstrate losses. But no one will go anywhere until LA gets a stadium plan in place. But once that happens, then the Rams could use the Rose Bowl or Coliseum as temporary digs

edit: Minnesota Governor came out today and said no state funds unless it's built on the current site. It's more complicated than just moving a team. The league has to approve, and then the moving team has to pay a large relocation fee to the league (other owners). So the guy is going to need to be friendly with the other owners, and have the money to pay off the rest of the teams.

NFL will never let the Raiders back in LA. They want no part of that fan base in such a key city. Sam Farmer relayed that line on a Peter King interview awhile back.

Like hell it does.

Sincerely,

Art Modell.
