First post here.
All my equipment had to be moved into a room in the basement once my daughter started walking...been in there ever since. This is a tiny room which is solely used by me as my audio/gaming/computing room. It's not the most elegant setup but it does the job for now.
First, here's a shot of the main system.
Here we have a 40 inch Samsung LN40B550 LCD TV, PS3 slim 160 GB, Cambridge Audio DacMagic DAC, IBM X31 laptop optimized for audio only, Arcam CD73 CD player, some Swarovski crystal, Chang Lightspeed CLS405 powerline conditioner, Ayre AX-7e integrated amplifier, Proac Tablette Reference 8 Signature speakers in Mahogany finish, Street Fighter 4 Tournament Edition fight stick, and some room accents such as the fake sticks in vases and artwork above.
Directly to the right is my gaming PC which I'm now using primarily as a racing setup. I've ordered 2 more 24 inch monitors to make this an eyefinity setup; should be here by the end of the week. For now, the desk looks a bit bare.
So here we have a Core i7 960 3.20 GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58 motherboard, 12 GB DDR3 1600 RAM, 64 GB Intel X25-E SLC drive for OS only, 128 GB Kingston V-100 MLC drive for programs, 120 GB OCZ Vertex MLC drive for data, Sapphire HD6870 1 GB video card, Asus Xonar Essence sound card, Corsair TX850 powersupply, CoolerMaster HAF 932 full tower case, Dell Ultrasharp U2410 24 inch LCD monitor. I am using Audioengine A2 speakers for the desktop setup. Logitech G27 racing wheel kit. Logitech G110 gaming keyboard, Logitech G9x gaming mouse, Razer Destruktar gaming mouse pad. Computer is running Windows 7 Home 64 bit. On the floor are some PS3 games.
Further to the right of the racing setup is a MacBook Air that I use a lot for browsing the web. Below are 21 external hard drives.
Directly to the left of the main system is my lounging/headphone setup.
Here we have an Alienware M17x R3, Core i7-2670QM 2.2 GHz, 8 GB 1600 Dual Channel RAM
NVidia GTX580M 2 GB video card, 17.3 inch WFHD1920x1080 120Hz with LED 3D Bundle, two 500 GB Hybrid hard drives in RAID 0 running Windows 7 Home 64 bit. On the floor are some items not in use (NAD T753 receiver, Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD player). Behind the laptop is the headphone setup.
The headphone setup...
Sennheiser HD800 headphones, Headroom Desktop Amp/DAC, Headroom Desktop powersupply.
