I've no clue who you are talking about because the Giants were suffering from severe dehydration earlier in the season that could have been life threatening. I mean just look at how much pain these guys are in!

Because Irsay is going to do Peyton a solid. Despite his tweets, he's not an evil person. And despite what some Colts' fans think, Irsay knows he's looking at a full rebuild and holding Peyton hostage won't give them any sort of competitive advantage. Additionally, he needs to try to keep the good will of the fans, although I suspect a large number of them will jump ship and root for whatever team Peyton signs with, if he's able to play.

As far as Peyton being an announcer, I think that's what he'll do, rather than be a coach. He'll be great at it. Manning's already proven himself to be extremely charismatic and a fountain of football knowledge. He should be able to transition to a booth or desk pretty easily.
