My 8 year old son picked the Pats to win tomorrow. He's been right every time he picked this year. The adorable little bastard called plenty of Jets losses but I guess it doesn't take a wizard to predict the sky is blue. I asked him why the Pats and he said he doesn't know. Just a feeling. I then asked him if Tom Brady was evil and he said definitely. His predilection for prediction enshrouded by a wisdom beyond his years scares me sometimes.

He asked me for a sip of Stone IPA the other day and I said "Son, you gotta grow into this bitterness" and he looked at me real serious for a second and said "Is that why we're Jets fans?"

Been in Chicago for the past few days. We're leaving tomorrow at 7 AM headed for Indy. Bought our tickets via StubHub (for a ridiculous amount) and we have to pick up there at the last minute service center. It'd be really shitty if the Giants lost, but this has been a fucking AWESOME trip so far without even getting to Indy yet.

I work till six, so I'm missing part of the first quarter. Hopefully by then the Giants won't totally have blown out the Patriots so I can see some semblance of a football contest.
 
Well, the game is tomorrow. Can't say I feel anything about it at all.
Completely apathetic.

Hopefully something happens to make me really root for one of the teams tomorrow. Otherwise I'll just root for a great game, and if not maybe Brady or Eli can choke the game away.

Very excited to see the Giants reactions to what the Patriots have hidden up their sleeves...

Gronkowski won't play much... With Soldier able to take up a place at TE, with the return of Volmer, we'll see an extremely strong line protecting Brady.. Not that he will be utilized much. I expect Green-Ellis to have a huge game, if all goes well.

Ultimately, I expect Giants to win. Pats defense can't keep up with Eli. He is Peyton's brother after all. It's in him.
 
I am scared as shit right now. Being a lifelong Rangers, Mets, Knicks, Giants fan, nothing good happens when you go into a game fully expecting to win like I do now. The great thing about 08 is I was able to actually go to my brothers super bowl party relaxed and with a "we have nothing to lose" attitude. but i'm freaking going out of my mind i'm so nervous.
