I don't know why the Pats went deep twice at the end. They should've gone for a 20 yard gain up the sidelines then shot for the TD on the last play, oh well Monday morning QBing.

I am catching up on the posts after I went to bed last night and can't believe anyone is saying Gronk would have caught that last ball if he wasn't injured.

Enjoy your dreamland, nutsos.

EMBRACE THE PAIN!

Such a terrible throw. Love it! Wes Welker can't throw the ball AND catch it, Giselle!

I know it's a troll but seriously? Brady couldn't come off being a nicer guy. This Lord of Evil stuff is pure BS. I've watched him for years, seen countless interviews and spotlight, the guy is a nice guy. How can anyone hate him is beyond me...

The nice thing about the day after the Super Bowl is that all teams are now even going into the new season and that with the right moves in coaching and personnel, most teams have a chance to emulate the Giants.

Nobody wants to emulate the Giants. 9 wins generally means you're not making the playoffs.

I don't expect the Giants to make the playoffs next season either.

be chosen on wildcard weekend!

I won't be surprised if the Giants don't even make the playoffs next year but I am pretty sure Giant fans will be alright with that after getting another ring.

Congrats Giants.

We got some cap issue, Mario is a FA and they don't have the cap to resign him, could see some players get cut too, so i wouldn't be shock if they didn't make it to the playoffs either...

I thought he was just putting it between the corner and the safety, I wouldn't call that a terrible throw.

^^^ so much denial* yet so many funny comments. Thanks Bionic, that made my morning.

*Gif is showing a bad angle, but he definitely had both hands on it yet didn't make the catch. Go figure.

Creating bastard children
Who cares? One bastard child is nothing compared to most athletes. At least he's been in relationships and is now married.

Abomination through the combination of metrosexual and transexual, violating the laws of nature.
Not funny and not even true. He's one of the toughest QBs out there.

Gigantic pussy who cries on tv that he was not a highly rated draft pick (despite being the weakest and slowest creature with the audacity to show up) and further when one of those mean defenders actually hits him.
Crying over that just shows how competitive the guy is. Tons of athletes have cried for worse things. And guess what? He proved everyone wrong so stfu you stupid bastard.
Belichick, not Brady.

The only thing that's embarrassing is your post

Thank you, no one else seems to notice how bad of a pass it was.

No one wants to blame the infallible Brady for his shitty throws to both Welker and Branch that completely killed the drive that would have been the dagger. Easier to blame the expendable receivers. Predictable.

I can't even tell if you're serious or not. Those were Aaron Rodgers quality throws. The one to Welker hit him directly in the hands, it's a total drop.

“You (have) to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball,” she snapped back. “My husband cannot (bleeping) throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”

The one that he had to jump, contort his body and reach behind him about 9 feet in the air? Yeah, right in the hands.

Yes, hit him in the hands! After having to awkwardly spin and extend just to make a play on it. Welker tends to make remarkable catches but one can't always be reliant on this for making sloppy passes.

Guy was wide open and if Brady hits him in stride it is a TD. Brady was long and threw it too high (for a guy that is short).

Eli was late on a similar throw to the sidelines in the game too.

Just because a receiver gets his hands on it doesn't mean it is a good throw.

Not saying it was a great throw, just the notion that it's Brady's fault that his receivers dropped balls that hit them in the hands is pretty ridiculous.

Eli's receivers stepped it up. Brady's didn't.

The guy was wide open.

If he throws the ball to him in stride there is a good chance he takes it to the house. Instead he misfires and leads him too much and throws it too high.

I guess we are ridiculous for expecting a qb to throw the ball accurately.

I......what? It was a seam route that he threw high and to the sidelines. He should have hit led him and hit him in stride. It was a terrible throw, as was the one to Branch. Sure he could have caught it, but that doesn't make up for it being in the wrong spot.

Why do people think the Jets will pick a saftey in the 1st?

I still think pass rush or oline will be in the 1st,

Theres going to be Great Pass Rushers in the Second with
Vinny Curry from marshall
Ronnell Lewis from OU
Bruce Irving From WV

The Jets use picks to trade up every year I expect them to do it again this year

as far as OL they need a right tackle and you can get very good right tackles in the 3rd

Pats will sign/draft a receiver that can beat the man press on the outside this year guarantee it.

Covered that as well With Jeffery might not be the fastest WR but hes strong. depending what his 40 is when i make my second mock after combine if he comes in above 215 pounds and/or runs a 4.56-4.7 (I think he may run a 4.65) Hes a second rounder

wtf@ people wishing the pats won because giants fans are insufferable. Seriously?

wtf@ people saying this was a boring game. Would you prefer all the blowouts we used to get in the 80s and 90s?

Congrats Giants gaf! Great win.

Just gotta say Ahmad bradshaw had a horrible game, for someone that scored the game winning touchdown. Like Wellington always says, he wasn't following blocks all night, horrible. There was one in particular in the red zone that might have been a touchdown had he followed his fullback, the OL opened up a hole that an 18 wheeler could have fit through and the fullback destroyed someone on the second level but Bradshaw instead goes left where there is no blocking.

Peter King has Welker as his goat. These guys have slurped Brady for so long they've forgotten how to criticize him

Yea Brady could have hit him with a better pass, but that is a routine catch. It doesn't help Welker that Manningham had a ridiculous catch on the final drive for the Giants. Even though it was a bad pass it should have been caught. At this point no one is going to rip Brady from the national media even though he is so fucking overrated in the playoffs right now. It is what it is at this point.

Howdy from the uk, so watched the game in its full glory yesterday and had a great time. I think I could get into this game.

Can anyone recommend some games from this season that are worth watching again?

Save yourself some time and just watch the last 5 minutes or so of any game Tim Tebow played in this season.

Regular season Packers - Giants game was one of the better games this season. Also, watch the Ravens - 49ers regular season game to see a totally different style of football, and some great defense.

No, it was amazing in his part that he Even had a shot. I'm thinking he would of been better off not turning around so people wouldn't be saying he "dropped" it.

I keep flip flopping my opinion on this. On the one hand I want to blame Welker, but at the same time I want to kill Brady. That was possibly a TD if he just made a better throw. I think Welker is fast enough to beat the safety in that situation. Now listening to the radio I completely forgot something FUCK JEROD MAYO. Easily the most overrated defensive player the Pats have on defense. If that dumb motherfucker had any skill he would have been looking at Eli for a perfect interception in the red area. Why he had his back turned I have no fucking idea. Belichick made the perfect fucking call on defense, and they still find a way to fuck it up. The worst part is that I have to see him for the next few years because of the extension. Mayo is so fucking terrible.

I'm really upset right now. Have never been more sad/ angry at something in my life (that I have no impact on really besides death, sickness etc.)....

I dunno what to do anymore. I thought Tom Brady would win. I thought I would be lucky enough to see that. I haven't seen Tom Brady win a SB since I was like 9 or 10. I barely paid attention then. Fuck. I don't know what to do with my life.
So you're 16 or something (makes sense) and have seen your team win a multitude of Super Bowls and likely seen your baseball and basketball teams win a few titles as well. Boohoo.

Yeah, that was huge. It should have been at least a batted down ball, at best a pick 6 (there was no one to beat but Eli). The Patriots had the exact right call and Eli threw the ball blindly. It was a freaking TERRIBLE throw into the perfect coverage. Only problem was for some reason that only that idiot can explain, he had his back to Manning. Terrible play by all involved, except for the catch. That's a tough catch in traffic.
