Are you able to download PSV games to your PS3 for storage purposes?
No, there is also GPS functionality that doesn't require a 3G connection.just to confirm, the only difference in the 3G hardware is the 3G support (and sim slot), right?
Yes, but they will disappear when you transfer them over to a Vita. Are you able to download PSV games to your PS3 for storage purposes?
You can't hot-swap memory cards.
Don't know if this has been discussed, but I kept wondering about it. So I double dipped, and DL-ed it digitally (Even though I had it on UMD...)

Army Corps of Hell has been getting some really bad reviews.
=[
Yes, someone did that successfully earlier in this thread.Has anyone tried transferring Valkyria Chronicles 2 from a PS3 to their Vita? Hopefully that's not one of the incompatible ones, as I want to play that game more than probably any Vita title.
GPS may not require a data plan, but to use apps like T@G you are still going to need some network access to download the tags, upload yours, find where they are located, etc. Don't expect to walk around downtown and use T@G on your 3G Vita without some kind of network access.
T@G looks like a pretty cool idea but it relies very heavily on people other than yourself actually using it out in public. If it was also available for android and iOS then I could see that happening, but as it stands...
Thanks, I expected that after the PS3 update that did the same for PSP titles :/Yes, but they will disappear when you transfer them over to a Vita.

Holy Hell, you don't know how happy this makes me. I never got the chance to play Vice City Stories and I never finished Liberty City Stories. Now all I need to be completely happy is for Chinatown Wars to work on that sexy system...
Edit: Thank you btw.
Thanks, think I might double dip on all the GTA games. Is there any chance they are doing a loyalty scheme for us westerners like they did in JAP for people with UMD copies, I would ideally like to re-buy Resistance and GoW games too (damned physical media)
I'm using my 32gb stick for Vita games and my 8gb freebie stick for PSP/videos. Anyone else doing something similar?

You could use the Content Manager Assistant to make a backup on your PC/Mac instead, although I think it might disappear too if you try to restore it back to the Vita. Thanks, I expected that after the PS3 update that did the same for PSP titles :/
If I had two memory cards, I'd use the smaller one for my Japanese account.I'm using my 32gb stick for Vita games and my 8gb freebie stick for PSP/videos. Anyone else doing something similar?

For me the scheme is like 8GB JPSN account, 16GB US PSN! Account switching woes be damned by that intro video!
Can you skip the account switching issues with a separate memory card? I thought you couldn't?
Guess I'll start picking some of the older games.
It still greatly increases the potential library of games. Lame that they are jacking up the prices though.

You have to use the wi-fi. The 3G service won't allow any large files.I dont know if you can do this with vita but can you download PSP and vita games through 3G service on ps store or do you have to use wifi
I have the first three and they all work on the Vita.Has anyone tried the following PSP games on the Vita?
Capcom Classics: Reloaded; Killzone: Liberation; Pursuit Force; MGS: Graphic Novel; Patchwork Heroes
I know so far Twisted Metal: Head On and Portable Ops don't work, as per the OP. But according to a few other sources, PJ: Monsters Deluxe and Jeanne D'Arc work.
Oh, I wasn't aware of the new rules. I'll PM a mod about it.Why is it in the community section? It should be in the gaming section. It will be moved to community by a mod after a month.
Wtf, just looked up the Persona games on PSN and they are all $39.99.

32Gb for games and media. 4Gb for Japan games I want to try out.
Yeah it's tiny. I won't be pulling it out often.
Are there any impressions on the maps app on Vita? Is it comparable to iPhone et al?
We should the list of games that unofficially do work from PS3 to Vita transfer that aren't listed on the Playstation Blog into the OP as well.
Random questions about PSN on Vita.
1) If I am signed in to PSN on my Vita will it automatically sign me out of PSN on my PS3? (as it does if I sign in on one PS3 then switch to another)?
2) If I am playing a game on my Vita whilst signed in to PSN will it show to my friends playing on PS3? If so does that include PSP games whilst on Vita or just the Vita games?
Just interested as to how this is all handled by the two systems.
Yes. I posted a link a few pages ago. You can google for the article easily.
The author likes it because of the bigger screen and a few Vita enhancements.

traditionally I always bought the premium sku because of extras, but I really have no use for the 3G. still it's only $20 more than the wi-fi + an 8 gig.
I agree. By only keeping track of the games that don't work, it's still a crapshoot for people who have no idea if someone has already tried the game that they are interested in, and they could end up wasting money (or at least end up waiting until the game is made compatible in the future).
1. No.
2. Not sure, ask my friends?![]()
