We should be good, well under the cap good. We restructured some guys and got some useless vets eating undesirable salary. This is the year where teams need to reach at least 85% of the cap right?

I know. I posted a ton of those restructuring deals. I'm just amazed at how inflated those numbers got for the Steelers. Raiders I wasn't surprised by given how eager they were to guarantee 80% of the contracts they handed out.jakncoke said:

Well It's not all that shocking Ben has a 100 million deal, Woodley, Timmons, Harrison all have deals above 50 million. Polamalu deal is like 40 something. Adds up.

Nobody of note yet. Biggest contract to get cut so far is Arnaz Battle. Ward is the biggest name but so far there's only been rumblings.
McFadden was making more than Battle, no? And those big names won't leave they will be re-structured. If anyone is leaving it's going to be either Ward,Foote, Farrior,Smith, Hampton.
Worst part? His idiot daughter is next in line. Her one moment in the spotlight? Completely fumbling the Andre Smith signing.

He did pull off the most amazing trade ever this season. I'm thinking it may have been some "broken clock is right twice a day" type of thing however. I'm not sure if many people saw Andy Dalton doing what he did. Having AJ Green helps a lot too though.
If they draft well this year, they should be a pretty good team next year.
I just wish the AFC would throw something else out that wasn't Pats/Ravens/Steelers every single year.
