There's this: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/128/index/8565134
Be aware though, most of the ME1 and ME2 mods use TexMod that basically stores everything you throw at it in RAM all the time.
http://social.bioware.com/user_entitlements.phpSorry if this has been asked already.
I've had ME2 since preorder, and I'm reinstalling now. When I played it the first time, I had a bunch of additional contect like the Dragon Age armor and other DLCs.
Where is all that stuff? Steam copy.
I'm on what I think is the DLC site but all I see are the expansions. http://social.bioware.com/page/me2-dlc
You'll be happy. So I'm busy playing through ME2 one more time as my "canon" playthrough, and while the stuff that normally bugs me is still bugging me, there's one thing that has super impressed me: the DLC squad members.
I never really brought Zaeed and Kasumi along that much before, but I've been giving them a whirl this time, and I'm shocked at how much dialogue they have during missions. Zaeed especially has become one of my favorite characters with his constant comments about what's going on.
In fact, in many ways, I almost feel like they exhibit more personality than the "core" squad members.
Makes me sad that we'll probably get an e-mail at best from them in ME3. But if they do show up, I'll definitely be cheering.

Just finished up, full paragon and had everyone survive at the end. Was happy enough to throw in a few choice renegade interrupts (snapping the guy's neck in Miranda's loyalty, pushing the Eclipse guy out the window and killing the noob Asari merc) and still not miss any paragon options; never liked how Mass Effect penalizes you for playing as a human being who isn't 100% idealistic or 100% sociopath.
Also noticed how Shep and teammates don't wear helmets/masks when the hull gets breached after entering the Omega 4 relay lulz
Yeah, I'm disappointed that I can't finish my team's alt look.Where's ME2's Costume Pack #3? Jacob, Mordin, and Samara/Morinth want visors too.
MOAR VISORZ
Yeah, I'm disappointed that I can't finish my team's alt look.
I'd guess that those appearance packs were extremely low-selling, to the point that it wasn't worth spending the time creating the new looks for that third pack.
Are there any good looks at those costumes anyway? I probably would never buy them anyway but I haven't ever seen any good sized pictures of them.
Garrus' and Miranda's are okay:Are there any good looks at those costumes anyway? I probably would never buy them anyway but I haven't ever seen any good sized pictures of them.
it's going to suck when i import my me2 save because it gives you some bullshit choices for me1, like killing wrex, the aranchi and the council.
Anyone experience lots of stuttering in the Citadel on Mass Effect PC?
GAF Help me.
I'm playing as an infiltrator on my insanity run on ME2 and loving it. I just got the Viper sniper from doing Thanes mission and it's beastly. The semi-auto rate of fire just shreds most enemies. Do I take the Widow Sniper upgrade from the collectors ship or get an assault rifle. What do you guys think?
That's something I have been thinking about actually.
I don't see how anything you have done as a renegade in ME2 or ME1 will be beneficial in ME3. All you have done is make enemies and kill potential allies.

So when does Arrival get shitty? I actually really enjoyed the stealth aspect of this first section. Just dropped off Oldie McBangBang at the Research Station.
I whore the widow, so beastly with 50% headshot upgrade, but if you already have a good sniper for your class I say go with the MG? that thing is quite a laugh.
I play soldier so going into rage mode for slowdown and damage boost along with the widow and sniper damage upgrades, everything is dead son.
Widow.
If there's a sniper with the power of the widow in ME3, i'm just going to rol infiltator with only a sniper, should be fun.

Part of it was the build up. Bioware was all like "THIS IS GOING TO LEAD DIRECTLY INTO ME3!" with big shots of Reapers, and talking about Reapers coming, etc, etc.
Then you get in, and sure, you talk to a Reaper, but it's not done that spectacularly well. Then you have people who got frustrated because their Shepard was designed in such a way as to work with a squad, so the later combat sections got really frustrating because they're by themselves.
And finally, and most egregiously, there's an event that occurs in which you're given a choice and then seconds later that choice doesn't matter in the least.
It didn't help that this came after Shadow Broker, which a lot of people loved and clearly had a lot attention paid to it. Arrival was clearly spit out by a team that was just learning about Mass Effect.
Ah, okay. Tucked in amongst a regular ME2 run, it's not really too bad.
Oh, and then there's the part where you destroy a Mass Relay with an asteroid, despite the fact that ME1 states that there was a relay that survived a supernova.
Yea that bothered me too.
I use the DLC as part of the story in ME2. I don't have Overlord, but Shadow Broker I use as Shepard's loyalty mission, and Arrival is the epilogue. Granted, using Shadow Broker as Shepard's mission works better when in a relationship with Liara from ME1, but I think the chat with Liara at the end is a good way for Shepard to clear his/her mind.
Arrival is kind of... eh. But it's a nice farewell to the game, and sets up that yes, the Reapers are coming, it's not over yet.

So I'm not the only one doing this, except I might be going back and playing through ME1 to get up to 60 first ... then playing through ME2 to have my "canon" playthrough. I may just do the latter, finish up my "rough" run and then do a perfect run for my "canon" one (yes, I want to save everyone)
Are you referring to the one that was knocked out of position due to a nova blast? Assuming it was part of that star system the Mass Relay should have been at a safe distance from the star to allow for spaceships safe access plus the “mass effect” of the star should be disruptive, which is another reason to be relatively far away. So the shock wave, while strong, will dissipate with distance. Also the relay (being strong and all) would be “hit” only by energy not anything solid so in my view it had a reasonable chance of survival. The one in Arrival was hit by a massive asteroid at high velocity to the core (if I recall correctly).
It's not worth getting to 60 in ME1, which will take at least 2 ME1 playthroughs, as the only bonus you get is that you start at level 5 in ME2.
Do what I did: Just play ME1 as you would, make sure you top 50, which should be easy, so you start at level 3 in ME2 and then play ME2.
Disregard all this if you're just trying to get the ME1 achievement for hitting 60.
The best part about that is that if you "betray" Liara, she'll make a different comment about who you chose in ME2 to replace her.
The Mattock is a thing of beauty. So beast.I haven't tried the Mattock yet
It's possible that it couldn't have been detected, as it was giving off very weak power signatures... Still it's odd that throughout those 37 million years, the Reapers would repeatedly overlook it during their thorough searches for sentient life throughout the galaxy.Someone correct me if I am wrong -- but the Derelict Reaper has been "dead" for millions of years. Why would the Reapers still allow that to be floating around in space if they return to the galaxy every 50,000 years? Wouldn't they have destroyed it/repaired it/moved it by now?
