If you love the Vita so much then why don't you marry...oh. Well ok then.
I know we have a lot of comparitive screens about how small the memory cards are, but i don't know what else to do with myself so I made my own.

I think they are the same size. The size of the memory cards isn't very surprising and/or impressive. I think Micro SD cards are even smaller.
Well, "good" doesn't want me to fork down $350 on a new console. Trust me, I want to. I really really want to buy it. I have the cash, that's not the problem. I just can't justify $350 to play games I can already play on my PS3 in better or equal forms, for less.
I avoided pretty much all JPN market info, so it's probably my fault for not knowing what the launch line-up was going to end up like overall.
I'm struggling to find 3 games to justify the purchase, and I can't find them yet. I'll probably just wait for the eventual $50 GC promos and get one then.
That makes 2 of us. I am excited about all the launch games I'm buy, but I see myself playing FIFA the most.

Not sure I understand the logic here. It's not like the GPS is always on and by default drains the battery more than the WiFi model. It's an option and you can use it when you want to or not use it when you don't. Isn't it better to have the option if some game or app used it rather than to not have the option at all?
Using WiFi eats more battery than not using it, would you get one without wireless connectivity over the WiFi model if that option was available to you because of battery life? That seems to be what you imply by saying you're going WiFi over 3G cuz the GPS eats up battery.
That's easy to fix. Buy it for 29.99 and return that copy for EBGames.Boo! I wish I knew that a few days ago. I bought it at EBGames with my other stuff for MSRP ($39.99).
The two are basically the same size. Vita cards are a little shorter but wider but they're very close. The size of the memory cards isn't very surprising and/or impressive. I think Micro SD cards are even smaller.
Eh, the scores aren't bad and there are still many games to review.every single journalist gave all the launch titles not that good of scores on metacritic
The 3G model eats battery faster than the WiFi model, and using GPS is only going to add to that.
The 3G model eats battery faster than the WiFi model, and using GPS is only going to add to that. I'm personally choosing to go with WiFi only because battery life is more important to me than 3G connectivity and GPS functionality, which I'm likely to never use anyway. Yes, I know they can be turned off, but since I'm never going to use 3G or GPS anyway, I might as well save the $50 and put it towards a larger memory card. Sorry if that wasn't clear, but is a combination of saving the money for a memory card and not paying for features I don't want or won't use.
And no, I wouldn't buy a unit without some kind of networking, as that is a ridiculous analogy. But that doesn't mean I won't turn off WiFi when not connected in order to save battery life, say when I'm on a plane or something.
Does online work now?
I really don't care the reviews of the games I was going to pick up because I know I will enjoy them, I will be picking up Hot Shots and UMVC3 digitally, Getting a physical copy of Uncharted and Little Deviants with my bundle.
Well I guess it's good I didn't say that it was surprising or impressive then.
PSP's current state is partly because Sony completely failed to support it after PS3 launched. They only came back to the platform after PS3 stablized. By that time, homebrew has already replaced Sony in evolving PSP's library. The good PSP titles came too late.
They also failed to support PSP as a media device. The original media sync software was awful.
Plus, the single nub wasn't very good for many game ideas. DS's touch screen is superior, and it's cheaper and much better supported.
So PSP never realized its full potential.

I played little deviants at best buy and it was really not THAT bad I would give it at least 70 or 3 1/2 stars outta 5
Come on, Q?, work out the damn rights for the music in Lumines 1 and put it up on PSN already. Failing that, I hope to god they have a bunch of good download packs.
I am struggling with the same exact problem as you, only I don't have a PS3 or any other PS except for PS1. Gravity Rush is a very strong factor that is making me gravitate towards getting a Vita.Well, "good" doesn't want me to fork down $350 on a new console. Trust me, I want to. I've had the PSP since its original launch, and I never stopped making this statement. So many of its features were half-assed. Vita already looks to be way out ahead of this, especially seeing how well the OS is designed.

I found the review to be ill-informed...Sounds like he's comparing the Vita to a smart phone. ?_?
Ultimate tease just arrived...Quoted for size.
Wow. So bad. How can you
a) Give it 3.5/5 review, yet in your conclusion recommend that you don't buy it.
b) Say that the only thing it does well is gaming, and seem to act so blissfully ignorant to ignore the fact that it's the devices main purpose.

Escape Plan is $14.99. Hmm.

I think the low scores for Little Deviants stem from it being over-priced at $30. I played the title and actually thought it was decent; but I still wouldn't pay $30 for it, and I'm the guy who just spent $506 on a handheld gaming device (3G model, 32GB card, Wipeout, Uncharted, and Travel Case).
I don't understand the hate toward Little Deviants. Seemed like a little fun mini-game when I played it.
My general feeling during a launch, any launch, is that if you are hyped for the system and then suitably psyched everytime you turn your hardware on for a few weeks to a few months after the system launches you can pretty much add 2 points onto any score.
That is why launch is such a great time to launch new IP, gamers are buying things they never would otherwise (for better or worse). Which makes it sad so many Vita games are from well-established IPs.

I was playing Blur yesterday and damn....Blur could be a great downloadable title for the Vita. Online is really awesome and the SP is pretty okay. The graphics would suit the Vita very well too. Although I'm hyped for new games, I'm really excited for some 'PS3 ports'
Btw...Is the franchise owned by Activision or did it go down the drain with Bizarre?
Anyone have any impressions on the Thrustmaster V.I.P case?

I think we all want new Blur. Activision holds the IP I believe but I'm not sure I trust anyone else with it.
