Also, people need to calm down about rose's back. Nash has been getting back spasms for over 10 years. Treat it right, control his minutes properly (good luck, thibs) and he'll be fine.

Explosiveness and athleticism comprise approximately zero percent of Nash's game. Chronic back issues would have a MUCH greater effect on Rose's game.

Neither of those things are inherently caused by your back, either. It's all the twisting and turning, that both do, and body contortion, that both do, that will cause the back problems.

In short, stop playing rose for 40mpg every game, seemingly. Particularly when you're up 10 with 1 minute to go.

Thibs this season (and last) has had horrible rotations.

Honestly, when the league packs so many games in so few of nights, players should get overtime pay, comped by the league, not the teams. There's so many fatigue-related injuries this year, some of which can shorten or end careers.

Yeah, DJ's injury is entirely based on fatigue. Every guy with back issues, tendonitis, or chronic ankle problems is getting boned.

Actually DJ's injury was apparently caused by one foot being longer than the other and he's been wearing the wrong size shoe his whole life.

Nike built him some new shoes.

Where do you get your info DY?

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat

this season i've just been saying things to make the pain go away :|

edit: the locker room shit about DJ White being slightly pissed about Tyrus getting minutes over him and refusing to re-sign is true. DJ turning down the 3 year offer as well.

Agree and not. They should get the pay, but it's also on your coach to manage minutes a lot better than ever before.

Some nights a bench player SHOULD be starting, just to give the other guy some rest. Particularly against the bottom teams in the league.

For the heat, there's no need for LBJ, Bosh AND wade to be playing against Charlotte. That sort of thing.

luuulz, its not like that team practices anyway.
They just show up, Jordan yells shit about "old days" "hand checking" and
"do you want the Kwame Brown" and thats enough for them to look like a
D1 college team.

also, LOL at the kobe gif. Dude walked like a motherfucker. wheres the call?

True, but that punishes fans unduly because they pay to see those guys play.

Also, the refs should be getting double pay. Those dudes aren't getting nights off and they don't get subs. Probably why officiating has been extra poor this year.

That's not even the worst part. The worst part was Scott Foster not giving Toronto a timeout when they asked for it, and instead called them for a five second count.

Charlotte will never be good. I've been trying to tell you this. Sure, they might be able to draft a great player, but that player will bolt ASAP.

Duki is the most eloquent Knicks' fan.

They're not going anywhere for another 6-7 years. Get your hick ass out of Asheville and swim in the bright lights of Neo-Charlotte. And tanking is purpose. This team has had more direction in the last two seasons than it ever did. Gonna lose? Lose like a boss.

It was a 5 second violation.

NBA Official

5 sec violation at end of TOR-LAL was correct call; actual count was 5.8 seconds

Did you watch it? It shows the ref clearly finished his 5th arm movement before Butler even decided to call timeout. It wasn't even close.

I saw a YouTube video that made it seem like a 50/50 call. Either way, we ALL know that 5 second calls are judgment calls in the NBA.

I don't live in Asheville. I live in Wilmington.

Direction is meaningless when players won't even consider resigning or signing there.

I can count to five, too.

I already said I thought the Lakers didn't deserve to win yesterday.

Feels like you are just nitpicking a call. Blame Casey for inserting Rasual Butler into the game (a game he had played zero minutes in till that point) to be the out of bounds player in the most important play of the game.

5 count isn't why the Raptors lost that game.

They lost because they outshamed the Lakers in the closing moments.

The refs do that arm-thingie anyway. Butler has to start calling timeout before he's about to end the arm thingie. It wasn't close.

Can't you be objective for once?

My objectivity is an issue after last week's goaltending call and the non-call on Kobe's walk the play before? Yes, let's focus on that. You got me. That's the real issue here.

When was the last time we had an infusion of Laker quad-L's?
feels like its been a while.

A post before yours?

When has there ever been a point that Charlotte has been in position to sign anyone big?

I be like lol

And re-signing people has never been an issue - but there's never been a point in that either. There's never been an abundance of talent to retain. We told failton to fuck off when he asked for 7 mil and rightfully so.

They'll never be in a position to sign anyone big because the team is located in Charlotte.

The NBA already admitted the goal tending call was incorrect. has anyone here, myself included, argued otherwise?

Anyway, you said this:

That's not even the worst part. The worst part was Scott Foster not giving Toronto a timeout when they asked for it, and instead called them for a five second count.

So it's worse than Kobe's walk, right? Even though it's the correct call?

A post before yours?

Really, dude?
