Can anyone detail what's being shared for those of us who can't tune in?

The 3G game is super stardust. Hopefully it's a code, because I already own it. Would like to give it to a friend.

Resistance 3 is out by the end of may. May 29th, i believe.

Still no hard date for Gravity Daze.

First commercial was decent. Dude takes MLB from the tv and plays it on his way to work. Better than that viral shit that may or may not have even been made by sony that people were losing their shit over the last few days.

I think that was about it for new info.

Did you actually see the full commercial? That was just a small clip of it.

Resistance looked sharp, but damn that framerate. Looked like it was around ~20 fps or lower.

yeah it's a shame... framerate was really poor back in nov/dec when I played it but was hoping it was an early build. Latest footage doesn't seem to have been improved much at all.

Well, KZ3 had "weighted" controls. Couple that with remote play lag (which is unavoidable) and we're going to have issues.

KZ3 had little to no input lag (minimum you'd expect for a 30fps game). The fact that the aiming is less fast paced than something like Call of Duty would actually be a plus for Remote Play.

The code will be for the bundle I would think, so you'll be giving him the DLC as well. I guess he could pay for the DLC at your end and you'll still be up. :)

Yeah, that's cool. Im generous :)

Well, if its like $10 worth of DLC, maybe i'll keep it ;)

As for the person asking about the commercial, they showed the whole thing. It was good. They said they will have a bunch more tomorrow on the blog.

So it's not a personal experience?

Well, not directly. It's personal experience with remote play generally.

KZ3 had little to no input lag (minimum you'd expect for a 30fps game). The fact that the aiming is less fast paced than something like Call of Duty would actually be a plus for Remote Play.

Perhaps KZ2 would be a better example. I still think the weighted feel together with lag is going to make the game more difficult.

June 29. =P
=(

And man, Resistance couldn't run at 30fps in a tiny corridor with a handful of enemies. I know Sony needs to show off more shooters, but damn.

Dammit, don't jinx it. I really hope it's coming out in April. They'll have Mortal Kombat and Gravity Rush for April, I hope.

It's not on the North American store right now. Could be there tomorrow.
In the meantime, you can download the game & the DLC over to your PS3 and transfer it over using Connection Manager. You have a PS3, right? :)

That's correct.

So does that mean that even if it is not on the Vita store, if it is on the PSN store I can still buy it and transfer it over to play it?

I feel content*

It's 2 days before the FEB, but we know everything, kinda. When PSone and remote play gets blown out more is still up in the air... but we've seen the first ad. We've read the outline for their advertising. We've heard quotes from Yoshi about wanting to balance the releases so there are no lulls. Still no firm date for Gravity Daze, but we got one for Resistance. The reviews have come in and each game is pretty much what we thought they would be. Modnation and Army corps of hell are a bit of a bummer, and general launch game-itis (like long load times) plague a lot of games... but overall it's still one of the best lineups ever.

I feel good, Vita-gaf. I like it. I tend to love sony hardware and sony games, but the way sony manages things makes me crazy. Right now I'm not 100% confident in them, but I like the way things are headed.

And to get corny for a second... i've been lurking here for years, posting here for about a year, but always just felt like one of the random faces. This thread is the first time I feel like im getting to recognize names, i love the tone most have taken, the vita is doomed shit has seemingly stopped, we answer questions over and over for new folks to the thread asking old questions. I always thought it was corny when people refered to themselves as Xbox-gaf or whatever, but i kinda feel like we are Vita-Gaf and I like you people. You are good people.

Vita is doomed, etc.

*as content as someone who is shaking while waiting the last 40ish hours for his FEB can be

Assuming money is not an issue, which Vita should I pick up? The 3G bundle for $300 is enticing because it comes with an 8gb card, but the launch bundle comes with a case, and you get it a week early. But only 4gb? Will that be enough? I really don't want to have t buy another card, and have just a useless 4gb lying around.

Side question - Anyone recommend any games?

Oi oi, the wifi Vita on Amazon UK seems to be down to £209.99. Complete with the free 8gb card, this deal is getting better by the day!! My pre-order hasn't updated yet but it did to £215 last week, so another £5 off further is nicely done.

Lots of really good review scores all around. Looks to be one of the best launches in a long, long time.

Trying to think back to a console that had such a strong launch (Dreamcast) right out of the gate.

I've seen a lot of people say they're buying Rayman for Vita. I'd like to know why you want the Vita version over the console, or why you'd want both? I ask as a man who Platinum'd the game, mind you.

I'm getting it for Vita, because it seems like a perfect game to take on the go with me, and I'm a primarily single player gamer, so I didn't plan on playing with other people.
