I don't get this. Did people want MP for the Vita one? I sure didn't. The reviews have all noted the story is decent and the voice acting is spot on, and that's what I come for. The 8.5's and such have all made the game sound fairly comparable to the consoles aside from set pieces. I'm excited.

For $50, yes, I think they could have put in some sort of multiplayer mode.

got my Uncharted and 32gb card today.

unfortunately amazon JUST NOW TODAY decided to allow Rayman to get release day delivery. it wouldn't let me modify my order, so i canceled it and re-ordered it with RDD. problem solved right? nope.

it wouldn't cancel the original order, OR the new order, AND it bumped the original one up to the RDD anyway. so im getting 2 fucking copies tomorrow, and i have to send one back. the original had a $10 gc applied to it. annoying....

also of note: bestbuy had NO Vita accessories or games out at all except 2 pairs of headphones. i have a ton of rewards cash and gc's to use on accessories whenever they get them in. gamestop had a demo unit but it was just sitting there at some weird error screen because they said it didn't have anything on it till sony gives them the update. they did have almost all the accessories in though, and some games. maybe i will swing by tomorrow or wednesday and see if it's up so i can try it.

If you or anyone else is home when Rayman shows up you can just refuse delivery and Amazon will credit your money back almost immediately.

Gametrailers advised people not to buy it until it falls in price. Hardly a ringing endorsement. Metacritic and Gamerankings both list the average score at 78. But that's splitting hairs. I've read all the reviews and what I gathered from them is that it's closer to UC1 than UC2/3, which is a huge negative to me personally since I think UC1 wasn't all that great. And it also lacks cheats/extras, which are the reasons why I replayed UC1 and UC2. All-in-all for me and me alone, UC GA sounds like a disaster waiting to happen at 50 bucks. Hardcore UC fans will buy it. Sony's counting on that. But will anyone else? I fear the game I want the most (Lumines) is going to bomb hard too due to its 40 dollar price tag.

Lumines at $40 is highway robbery. I would buy it at $20.
Super Stardust Delta at $10 is putting many games to shame. That's 4x less than Lumines. Does not compute.

I got HSG and my 32GB card from Amazon today. I just opened up HSG and was surprised to find all that was in the box was the online pass. Have they gotten so cheap they can't even put a manual in the fucking box?

There are people who just set too high standard for vita games right now, myself included, I was disapointed when I first saw uncharted GA at demo kiosk, because I was expecting it too look on par with PS3 graphics. But for uncharted, I just wished they would have kept native resolution, even if that sacrificed other graphical details, becuase I just couldnt stand the resolution.

This thread is reaching a boiling point of pre launch hype and product justification.

People are flipping out because people are reviewing games, and not for reviewing games with a Vita sized asterisk.

Just deal with the fact your precious didn't get 10s everywhere and judge by yourself come launch day.

I was expecting Uncharted to get these scores, and I am still going to buy it day one to support these types of games on this platform.

I would jump on amazon live chat and see if you can get that fixed. If not when the order ships out call ups or fedex (depending on who ships it... obviously), and tell them that you refuse the delivery and give them the tracking number.. It should get returned to amazon without too much hassle.

Vita games get manuals but they're pre-loaded onto the system itself when you boot the game up the first time.

I'm part of the problem :(. If I had any patience I would wait for a b2g1 free deal or something. But that is one of my most anticipated titles.

You can either refuse delivery at time of delivery or simply take the sealed box to a UPS store and have them return it.

Yeah, I think it was obvious given the fact that the game cost $50 and that it did not have multiplayer it would get dinged 1-2 pts at most places. Fortunately, though I would have liked the game to be either $29.99 or $39.99, I don't really care about Uncharted multiplayer.

Thankfully Vita is doomed so Uncharted will be $20-30 in a couple weeks. I don't really wanna wait that long though.

I agree with this. $50 did not work on PSP (remember GTA LCS and Star Wars at that price). Why would it work on Vita? $40 should be the absolute ceiling for handheld games, but Sony will learn.....eventually.

Koller also said that COD is coming in the back half of the year. We'll see if they charge $60 for that.

I thought sony kinda said the maximum price for vita game will be $49.99?

how long do you think it will be before we see a Vita memory card to SD adapter like we saw with Duo to SD adapters like so:

I purposely went with a smaller 8 gig card expecting we will see faster and cheaper storage pretty soon, if not in just a few weeks.

Impossible. The Vita memory card is just larger than a micro sd, and proprietary, so clones are not likely to be reliable, since they will have to be reverse engineered. Price cuts are your only hope for cheaper memory.

I wasn't going to buy it at $40 because of the lack of multiplayer. At $50? Sony can go fuck themselves on that one :D

Speaking of Uncharted, a 1.01 update is available with "Fortune Hunter support" and "bug fixes". Anyone know more details?
Amusingly enough, the update features the following...
- Support for Treasure Maps DLC Pack
- Bug Fixes

Looks like this game is getting DLC after all and a podcast misspoke today.

Got my Vita memory card today... Thing is astonishingly small!

Yeah, it's a bit bigger than a micro SD, but still, when you're used to regular SD and memory sticks, it seems kind of absurd seeing this $99 piece of thumbnail-sized plastic embedded in a cardboard sleeve!

Then don't charge 25% more than the second most expensive Vita game.

That's a whole other discussion though. If this game is on par with Uncharted 1 like I've seen mentioned, and that game was $60?

I don't think Vita games should be $50, or $40 even, but I can see the argument why it is. But that is also an argument of worth, not how good what's actually in the package is.

A COD should be enticing come the holiday season as long as they stay away from the Wii U launch.

(Looks at TRU sale).... haha told everyone it was stupid to pre-order games at full price.

(Looks at Amazon updated 3G bundle offer) ... 3G Launch bundle = best bundle.

Just switched to the feb bundle from the 3G launch bundle. I really wanted that case. And the two games I have sitting here aret going to tease me for another week.

Can anybody explain to me how To get free SSD with FEB? Do u need to activate 3g for 2 month to get it?( one free, one paid?)

Also, do u need SSN when you sign up for 3G?

You pay for the first month of 3G at $15 and as a result you get a second month of 3G and SSD for free.

What's the TRU sale?

Spend $50 on Vita items, get $20 gift card. More or less, every two Vita items get a $20 gift card.

How were you expecting those scores? I thought we should wait until launch day to judge the game ourselves? I jest, but I do agree with you that these scores are no reason to get upset. However, I think you're exaggerating the"anger" in here. It's been pretty positive overall, I've found.

I don't suppose anyone in the UK with a Vita has tried either of the PSP pinball games on PSN yet to see fi they're compatible with the Vita? One is Williams Pinball of Fame and I think the other is the Gotlieb one.

Obviously don't expect you to buy them just to try but if you've already bought them in the past and own a Vita then I would appreciate someone checking it out for me. I'd love a good pinball game on the GO! go.

Have to buy physical copies for the 2nd deal? Are there specific game cards you can get that would qualify for the deal? I want to stay physical free this gen.

What's the name of the site that has the 32Gb cards for like $70?
And where can I buy the Thrustmaster VIP hard case? Can't see it on Amazon.
