in the east? you can half-ass your way to the playoffs
Yeah, but Milwaukee and Cleveland don't have Melo on their team. Knicks are probably at a disadvantage.

DALLAS If your perception of Dirk Nowitzki changed during the Mavs championship run, youre a basketball idiot.
That comes from no less of an authority than Kobe Bryant.
There was a ton of talk about the new, improved tougher version of the big German while Nowitzki led the Mavs to the franchises first title. That was a bunch of bull, according to a man with five championship rings worth of credibility.
And Bryant didnt need to be on the broom end of a West semifinals sweep to develop that kind of respect for Dirk.
"I always knew he was cold,'' Bryant said after the Lakers Wednesday shootaround at the American Airlines Center. "I never understood people who thought otherwise. I thought maybe they just don't have the proper knowledge of the game.
Anybody who can watch Dirk play and not understand what his value is or how good he is I believe doesn't belong in a reasonable basketball conversation.''
Bryant referred to the Mavs as a measuring stick for the Lakers. However, he scoffed when asked whether being swept by the Mavs a series that ended with a 36-point rout affected the Lakers mystique.
"It's tough to put a dent in mystique with all those banners,'' Bryant said. "That's tough to do. But they had a great year last year, they played extremely well. They kicked our butts, that's for darn sure.
But we're going to be back at it. We're middle of the pack right now. But we have aspirations of being there again in June and seeing this team in the playoffs.''
Griffin: starting All-Star fraudwardWe all know McGee should've won over that flopper you have as a fraudent forward. Jumping over the hood of a car? GG.
Griffin: starting All-Star fraudward
McGee: lol
Griffin is smart enough to use all the league tools available to him, including the non-punishment of flopping.Griffin: Flopper
McGee: Dumb
All evens out here.
Kemba is so dumb

Griffin is smart enough to use all the league tools available to him, including the non-punishment of flopping.
I don't condone flopping myself, but if it helps your team win and you don't get penalized for it, then you'd be stupid not to flop.
In Griffin's first few months as a rookie, he didn't flop. But once he learned that he wouldn't get foul calls unless he added an element of flopping, then who could blame him?
Isn't that good for DAT TANK?
Biyombo will be the better player. Book it.
wow, Kings can't be better than us. I won't believe it.
Kings actually have a but load of talent.
Do they, though?
Mike Breen not commentating? Is he doing the Mavs/Lakers game?
This Knicks offense isn't at all what it was just a week ago...
No one saw this coming.
yeah, it's not like anything changed.
Honestly, Amare is getting by unmentioned in the media right now which is crap. Only one to call him out for looking like shit has been Michael Kay.
