He basically shat on all the trades (Which I also would have) What I took is he thinks Deng is overrated and can't really score, Boozer sucks more than everybody, and that the Bulls wouldn't give up Derrick Rose so no trade would happen. But I actually may have missed the Artest part...lol

He's just not being realistic. Of course, you're not going to get equal value for Howard, it's just how these things go. The only equal trade would be Gasol & Bynum but that would be absolutely foolish of the Lakers to do, unless it brings in a great PG. My problem with Cowherd is he kept bringing up how a Deng for Gasol, or a Deng for Howard trade would be dumb. Of course it would be, but NO ONE was saying anything about that. He just made those trade scenarios up, then shit on Chicago fans calling in for defending Deng. None of the callers said it was a fair trade, none even brought up the trade. He just went on about how Deng wasn't as good as Gasol and Howard. No duh, but no one said they were.
Besides, the man clearly doesn't watch any Bulls games, then concluded the segment by saying that he only wanted callers from LA or NY, not Chicago. What kind of dumb shit is that? I kid you not, one caller said how about Noah & Boozer for Howard, and Cowherd IMMEDIATELY started talking about how a Deng for Howard trade would be dumb, and Bulls fans were nuts for thinking it could happen. Denying that the overwhelming favorite here is the league-leading, NBA Finals runner-up Heat is dumb. That team is, in fact, supposed to beat the Knicks.
So when they lose to the Knicks, I want all of their fans in this thread here to take the L with them. And I really, really want them here in particular if it is Lin that is the catalyst for it.
[EDIT: After this season, I expect JR, Douglas, Walker, and Jordan to be gone. I think Baron would stay for the minimum, actually - you know he's not playing for the money anyway. He wants to be NY for the business opportunities, just like in LA. Novak will stay, too.]

This game is like the Mavs game - a big test against a good team. It's bigger because of the old rivalry between the teams. But it's not like the division/conference is on the line, and given the Knicks are .500, you can't even say it's like a playoff preview (unless it's 1-8 first round or something) or a clash of big teams or whatever.
The biggest game of the year will be whatever game the Knicks play in the playoffs. It'd be nice to finally get the first playoff win in more than 10 years, heh.
