Also hoping for another drop on binary domain.

What's the CheapArseGAF consensus on Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2? Buy now or wait and pray? Not sure how rare that game will be. Currently with the thehut deal (and marched2 coupon) it would be 32.95+~1 pound of shipping.

Any hope that game will get a better deal (that will ship to mainland Europe...)?

I am pretty sure the first one dropped lower than that.

Is Shopto unbanned now?

No.

As I understand it, it is okay to mention banned sites by name but any link to that site will be borked by NeoGAF.

I'm pretty sure a week or so ago, Nintendo had a press release where they stated if you pre-ordered Kid Icarus you'd get 24 free AR cards in addition to the 6 it comes with. Has anyone seen this mentioned in any pre-order deal? Or any good KI pre-order deals in general?

Hm....*Googles*

Nintendo has confirmed that Kid Icarus Uprising will come with 6 AR cards when the game is released in the UK on March 23rd.

However, if you pre-order the game, you'll receive an extra pack containing 24 AR cards.

You'll also be able to get hold of exclusive Kid Icarus AR Cards through Club Nintendo. For 250 Stars you'll be able to get 2 packs containing 6 AR cards each.

Some packs will also include extremely rare cards.

Place these cards next to each other and you'll be able to watch characters from the game battle with each other.

Kid Icarus Uprising will also come with a special 3DS stand.

Can't you simply wait for someone to scan those cards and then print them out yourself?

Good point, but the collector mentality in me means I would not do that. It is the reason I don't go down the digital download route for games, music, films etc, I like to have a proper, legitimate copy of things in my possession :)

Place that does the Cheapest UK price and/or midnight release for Mass Effect 3 guys? Any ideas?

If you are willing to go for a midnight release, then there is not much good on offer. Everywhere is over £30 for the console version.

ASDA is good, but you wont get it midnight...

Mass Effect 3 (360/PS3) -£32.97 @ Asdahttp://direct.asda.com/Mass-Effect-3---Xbox-360/003763710,default,pd.html ( use code GPO52402)

I don't know if the code still works, and cannot check now - sorry (it worked yesterday though)

For PC...

Mass Effect 3 (PC) - £28.99 @ Bee

Another Supermarket could do something better on launch, if so it should be advertised in the national papers, and we should know about it the night before release.

I believe this is currently the cheapest price around online at Asda with the discount code. Enter the code at the checkout I'd imagine and you'll get the £32.97 price.

Thank you so much guys, i went for the Asda offer. I would have liked it at midnight but I like that price even more. Cheers!

Anyone seen any deals on SSX for 360?

There really should not be anything. Right after release is usually the worst time to look for a deal, and it seems to be £35+ everywhere, If you wait a week or two some shop might try to shift a bit of stock and knock the price a bit under £30

Re: Kid Icarus AR cards. I find it odd the twitter account has yet to say anything about them.

Seems to be kind of overshipped. After asking, I even got a 5€ refund from my retailer as they dropped the price shortly after I ordered from them.
After both Xenoblade and Zelda SS being undershipped that could be the case. Now I'm wondering is how many regular editions did retailers need to get to get this surplus of limited editions (if it were a lot thats the real bomba to watch out for).

Then again it did take a couple of weeks for the Zelda limited edition to sell out and the prices go crazy...

God, I've been waiting 4 months to buy Skyrim but the thing is still at full price on Amazon UK!!!! Every other game that released on that month is wayyyy cheaper by now.

Mass Effect 3 N7 Collectors Edition Xbox360/PS3 £57.97 from ASDA Direct. This seems to be the cheapest you can get it, if you can get it at all.

Edit: That's the 360 version gone, no more stock.

I want to buy PSN cards for the UK store. I'm in Germany.

Best (safe+non-shady) place to do that?

thehut.com is my go-to site for online shopping, 100% reliable (in the 3+ years I've been going there) and cheap, though there might be a few places where you could get them for a little less money

say, is there any place where I can get a PAL copy of Tales of Vesperia that is not exorbitantly expensive?
Depends on what you regard as exorbitantly expensive. The price on Games on Demand is £20, which is high for such an old game but rather cheaper than the sort of markups it goes for elsewhere. Of course, though, you won't get any box & documentation.

about that - I have a PAL console, but registered with an US account. The marketplace recognizes this, thus won't let me download the game.

They have been out of stock / out of print for ages. Last time they were cheap is when Zavvi shifted old stock...

...like mclem said, this is the one of the few times GOD seems like a good deal.

Prices on eBay are actually falling now. They got to highs of £80 (new), but are close to £60 now. Used it about £35 if you can be bothered to wait and bid.. which is not terrible either.

Just set up a UK account to download the game?

You could just buy it for £60 on eBay and sell it when you're done, and you won't lose much that way unless 100,000 units are suddenly discovered in a warehouse somewhere.

hm, might as well register an alt account then, if that's the case. Thanks for the info.

Zavvi are basically just pricematching now with their Mega Monday stuff - they used to set standards for the bigger price-drops :/

I won't complain. My backlog is already almost 30 games. But yes, nothing cheap enough to buy. And for Batman AC, I will wait for the Wii U version.

Not really I ordered on Sunday and they have canceled my order back in the day :/

You know what? I might play revelations if it drops belot £18 soon. If that happens too close to AssCreed 3 I will skip it as originally planed.

tempted by this Arkham City for 19 pounds. any chance it will go any lower (14-15 mark)? I'm affraid that if I wait, I might end up with a "Classics" cover which I hate.
