Is Retina better than OLED? It looks quite different from OLED screens from what I have seen on the iPhone 4S of a classmate of mine.

Isn't Retina just a marketing term for a high resolution display while OLED is a different technology?

I'd like to see a comparable sized OLED beside a "Retina" display iPad display.

Wonder how the new iPad will handle the current games and Apps at the normal resolution. Will they be treated like iPhone Apps on the current iPad with a 2x button to fill the screen ?

I also wonder how soon are we going to see upgrades from the current games to the higher resolution and if they are going to charge more money for the RETINA version.

More info on Netflix-Apple TV increased integration...
Starting today, you can sign-up for Netflix directly on your Apple TV and pay via your iTunes account. Plus, with the new third generation Apple TV, you’ll also be able to watch thousands of hours of great movies and television streaming on Netflix in 1080p high definition and with room-filling Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.

Now, with a software update on your Apple TV, this seamless sign up and billing experience extends to the second generation Apple TV. The new sign up and payment experience on Apple TV is available wherever Netflix is, including in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

No, they'll just look bad. Like old iPhone apps after retina.

you don't realize you need it until you use it

Yep. And that's quite an understatement.

I've said in many apple threads that I had no desire for an iPad and had no plans to buy one, but I happened to win one about 18 months ago and when I'm here in my house, the thing is barely ever out of my hands. Now I can't live without it and its easily my most used electronics device.

I actually go days now without even going to my desktop computer unless I'm wanting to play a particular PC game.

Coupled with secondapps.com/neogaf it is the best Neogaf browsing experience ever!

It is an absolutely wonderful media consumption device.

I could see that. But SO many other things I have do that already. From Vita to iPhone to PC to consoles. I guess I'm not the right demographic for this sort of device lol.

I haven't used the iPad verion of GarageBand. Does it have the full complement of software instruments, or just some keyboards and guitars, or something in between? I love that it's finally coming with notation/piano roll.

The internal store is crashed too, so you guys won't have any luck on the phones either. I've have a buddy who's a phone sales guy for Apple - he says the entire system has collapsed. lol

Nice!!!

This is the best way to go. The website is a POS.

Called. They said they couldn't order it because the store is down. They said to check back later.

This. Don't bother calling.

Quick question.

I just love this new iPad, never owned one before but I guess its time to pick one up.

Now to my question.

s there a way to connect a card reader to an iPad so I can transfer all photos straight into the iPad from my Canon Camera memory SDHC card?

I would love to be able to not use a laptop to be able to empty my memory cards when I am out travelling.
