The Bendis X-men stuff is just a rumor, and we won't know about it for months. Till then, lets just enjoy the good times and happy with the fact that he isn't touching UXF/WatXM

M-Day ruined a great character. Vampire thing made her cool again but she's being constantly abused either by editorial or by the hack writers on her since CotM.

I enjoyed the very first vamp story but the follow up with her has been painful on a monthly basis. =(

Vampires never make anyone cool. Jubilee was about being joyful. They broke her permanently.

Did you read X-23 #20? There's proof that vampire Jubilee can be great. They just need to get the fuck on with all the emo shit already. Her in vampire rehab should be funny but this latest Adjectiveless arc has turned into some USDA Grade A bullshit. Like I said, either editorial or these writers are dropping the ball. Put Jubilee in WatXM and or even Marjorie Liu's (ed: upcoming) run on Astonishing and I guarantee something fun will be done with her.

I have high hopes for Brian Wood as long as they don't force him to do super hero fluff.

i'm trying to make a small reasonable and varied pull list for me.

i'm thinking:
unwritten (havent started but my friend has the trades so i can catch up)
wolverine and the x-men
saga
batman
batwoman
fables
invincible

i'm thinking of dropping batwoman. any thoughts? titles i should replace?

Absolutely. It's the arc that made Green Arrow my favourite DC character. The way he's resurrected may seem a little far-fetched, but as far as comic book returns go, it's on par with anything else out there. As always with Kevin Smith, the dialogue is the best feature. I fully recommend it! Plus, I looooove Phil Hester's artwork and his bold, solid lines.

Itunes automatically lumps together purchases made in a short period for exactly that reason.

What the fuck happened here.....this costume is not going to last.
Are general opinions good about this, cuz i havent hated a costume this much in quite a while.....heck im not sure i hate the costume or just the general ness of the look

P.S The interior panels look pretty well drawn.....couldnt they just have gone back to Captain Marvel suit with pants (if they wanted to make it more modest im sure that would have worked out alright.

As long as it means that Jeff Parker is still writing the book I'm okay with it, calling it 'Dark Avengers' will hopefully translate to more sales for the book. I really hope they don't bring Deodato into the book later though, I hate his artwork.

I still say Carol's new costume looks off, and it's because they flipped the color scheme of the traditional Captain Marvel look just to be "different".
