Sorry Heavy, but that beat should've.... stayed buried.

Am I the only one thinking Heavy D had nothing to do with that shit, and Remi told Nas that just so he'd do the record? The second single was prob gonna be a dope track from another producer but Remi hijacked that shit

Ah, I see we're already in the reasoning phase of the Nas cycle. "You know, maybe it's just this one song. I'm sure the rest of the album has great production!"

That nas track was good. The cycle hasnt started yet,or it is still in the hype phase. Only thing annoying about the beat was that sample being played to death...and then some more.

Yeah and I don't think that sample had anything to do with Remi or Heavy D that was almost certainly Da Internz the same people who kept looping ass on that big Sean track.

Kendrick tweeted that TDE's president is going to drop a secret album on Twitter of course the president's tweets are protected now. Pretty funny that they think they can keep it secret when it drops it'll be all over the internet. Hopefully it's the whole crew on an album and they are releasing it for free since they signed to aftermath.

Game ft. Kendrick Lamar - The City video.

Video is dope as fuck. Sweet editing aside from the weird bullet/blood effects.

The City >>>>>

R.E.D. Album >>>>>

Wtf Vevo?

Riff Raff and Action Bronson is such an odd combination....I wonder if they did more tracks together than the one k.jack posted few days ago.
The most bizarre thing about that combo, is that Riff Raff actually spit a good verse.

Nah, The Don really solidifies the cycle fulfilling itself once again. Some random ass 2003 club beat? Smarten up Nas.

4Eva N A Day is my favorite KRIT tape. Shit is so chill it takes a bit to vibe with it. But once you're in that mood man, shit is so damn smooth. I never even skip a track. I let it play out then repeat it all again. It is one hell of a ride.

I think i like certain parts of it more than R4E, honestly. It's more cohesive in that its not banger oriented in the slightest. Really good work or study music.

Nas's beat selection really is fucking nonexistent. That beats not bad for a song on the LP, but its not single material. Rapping still on point doe.

lollll nice one soul creator.

I don't know how some of y'all can enjoy 4evaNaday more than Returnof4Eva. The highs in the latter are so much higher. The former is more chilled out I guess and sticks to a theme but that's about it.

Haven't been this disappointed since UGK4Life. 4evaNaday is alrite but no S.L.A.B.?

Lil Keke - Southside
Chamillionaire + Paul Wall - N Luv Wit My Money
UGK - Feds in Town

I have fallen victim to the hype. I know a couple friends who praise this mixtape as the greatest everrr!

Yeah, might be one of those cases where action bronson brings the best out of him haha.

Oh, I didn't know he got signed. That's pretty cool. Enjoyed his last two mixtapes so looking forward to what else he does

I kinda agree on the Big Krit thing, but yea it's hard to be excited for Nas anymore, his time has passed...

It's in Nas' genes both him and Jungle (exec prod) can't pick beats. He needs a exec producer who can actually pick dope beats for a cohesive album.

Nas/Premiere. Album of forever. Shit, bring back qtip and pete rock. Illmatic:the sequel.

GAF, I've never listened to anything Action Bronson in my life. Where to start?

Dr lecter, Well Done, Blue Chips. All different varieties, all great.

Just found out he's coming to Michigan in May. Stoked, just hope I don't have an exam that night (summer classes)

I may have to go to that. Is it the detroit area?

Edit:Pontiac..hmmm and only $15. I think I will be there with some females, should be fun.

Danny Brown needs to kill himself.

I'd take Pete Rock and Large Professor over DJ Premier tbh (for Nas' exec prod).

It's been a while since Preem really laced something, and he's kinda ran his course as far as creativity though. I'd love to be proved wrong, I looked at dude like a god in the 90s.

If we're going off recent performance Premier did a much better job on the year round records album then Pete did on that Smif-N-Wessun joint. If we're going off the Illmatic crew Q-Tip would be perfect as exec prod.
Seems like Vevo has uploaded most of the Nas SXSW show, damn Pete Rock was there too The World is yours one is dope:
One Time 4 Your Mind
Made You Look
NY State of Mind
Hate Me Now
Life's a Bitch
Nas Is Like
One Mic
The World Is Yours
Phone Tap
It Ain't Hard to Tell
Halftime

Pete had a track on The Throne and done other things with Kanye on MBNDTY. Plus his work on that Smiff was at least inspired instead of the same old drum pattern, two musical samples and 1-3 vocal samples scratched over top. I love some Preem, dude just only has one mode. He did his best work with Guru and MOP, and well, Guru is dead and MOP is broke and robbin ninjas on the subway right now.

No, Born In The Trap doesn't count for shit. In fact, it's a perfect example of DJ Premier phoning it in as of late. He's the Bun B of producers.

You deserve it man! Good on you. Remember you repping the Ghost with dat avatar too a little while back.
Nobody deserves something as sick as Childish Gambino getting replaced by Ghostface Killah for a concert and then getting to hang out with him

nobody
