How are the Flyers doing with injuries? Neal, Sullivan, Niskanen, and Lovejoy are all questionable for the Pens at this point. :(

Can you visit The Forum in Montreal? I'd love to go there this summer while I'm visiting Montreal, walk around a huge piece of hockey history.

In a Sharks jersey.

You can, but its an AMC movie theatre/Futureshop now. There is still a lot of memorabilia and stuff there, but its a movie theatre. Its only a few blocks away from the Bell Centre.

I saw 50/50 there in November :lol

It's a fucking movie theater now? That just seems super disrespectful :lol

Yeah, I don't disagree. The Bell Centre is a beautiful arena and a hell of a place to watch a game in and of itself, but it ain't the Forum.

Habs haven't won shit since they left the old building.

Well as long as they still have displays and stuff it should be fun. Any other suggestions on what to do out there? Any nice nature-y stuff?

There's a whole bunch of stuff in and around it, most notably a bunch of seats from the forum. But yeah it's just a big movie theater + some other stores.

Trust me, Acid, you won't have trouble finding things to do. Montreal is one of the very best, if not the very best, city in Canada. Great nightlife, restaurants, historical sites, you name it.

Word from the beat writers is that Neal will play, Sullivan is fine and could have played Saturday if necessary, Niskanen is out, and Lovejoy might return as early as tomorrow. He's practiced the last couple of days.

Get breakfast at Eggspectation. Every day. And if you're into zoos and animals and stuff, the Biodome is neat.

I can't wait to go back to Montreal, even if I now have memories tied there with two ex-girlfriends. Eh, whatever, it's just such a great city.

I've never ate there even thought I live within walking distance of one.

Biodome is good too

When my friends and I visited during a long weekend last year, our schedule basically revolved around food. Ate some crepes at a nice place in Old Montreal then looked around it (really nice historical area) and went down by the waterfront which was beside there. Then we walked on over to Schwartz's for some smoked meat sandwiches which we ate at a really nice park nearby. Also checked out La Banquise for Poutine and watched the Canucks beat your Sharks in a playoff game commentated in French at some pub ;D

Check out Beaver Lake, Parc Lafontaine, and Jean Drapeau.

Also, the Biodome is pretty rad, and you can take some pics in front of Olympic Stadium while you're there. The Botanical Gardens and Saputo Stadium are also in the same area.

Dude, we should grab a beer and watch a game at a pub. How long you coming in for?

For poutine, definitely check out La Banquise. Reuben's and Dunn's (both around St. Catherine and Mcgill) are equally good for smoked meat.
