No, but beating somebody down for "talking shit" is as dumb as killing somebody for beating somebody down. Totally out of proportion.
i appreciate that save attempt.

Violence is acceptable and its okay.Be defending the people who did this you are saying violence is acceptable and okay.
It wasn't one on one. Someone was holding the camera and you know they'd get involved if it went the other way.
I can't believe people think this is somehow warranted because she chatted some breeze. Am I within my rights to deck the people that I perceive as 'shit-talking' in this topic? (internet tough-guy stuff aside).

The real question is when is violence okay then? When you are eyeballing someone? When you say he is stupid? When you say he's phony? When you tell him he is a motherfucker? Where is the line where a person deserves a proper beating?
I heard the girl with the camera telling Warrior Princess to stop, sounded to me like she wasn't expecting things to go down like that at all. I doubt she was planning on joining in. Either way it was one on one and the shit talker lost. In a couple of weeks her bruises will be healed and life will go on.
Violence is not the answer to "talking shit", ignoring it is. Violent scum like this don't belong in society, and neither do people that would defend them.
If you honestly believe this, you are what's wrong with this world.
I'm not defending the person who went out and beat the shit out of this girl. I'm not apologizing for her actions either.
I am, however, questioning the common sense of someone who chose to invite violence to their doorstep. Violence isn't the answer, you're right, but talking shit isn't a good idea either. You can control what you do and what you say, you cannot control how others react to what you do or say, so talking shit (even if you're correct) is never a smart move, publicly or privately.
It never is acceptable to attack someone over words of any kind.
Also, in this day and age, when someone gets in your face and someone else has a camera phone pulled out, you can basically guarantee the person is there with the express intent to beat the shit out of you. Again, common sense.
None of that changes the fact that this is not how civilized adults roll. At all. Totally unjustified.
You've got to be pretty fucking insecure to let a little twitter chatter (or any other kind) rattle you like that. Deep down she probably knew that the smack-talk was truth.
What the fuck could she have said over twitter that justifies a beating like this, that's what I want to know.
That said, I hope they lock this woman up and throw away the key. Get a hold of yourself.
Person taping it obviously didn't want it to go that far either.Isn't it funny just how at the end of the video the person recording is all like "okay, that's enough." What the fuck?
Neither of them looked like adults to me. Kids do dumb shit and hopefully grow out of it eventually. I got in fights as a kid, I'm sure a lot of people have, it's not that big of a deal. I'm an adult now and I function in society rather well. No jail time needed.
The way I look at is, the one girl was being bullied and she stood up for herself. "Talking shit" is a very effective way of bullying and can cause significant emotional trauma. How many stories have we heard about some poor kid committing/attempting suicide, after being antagonized by their schoolmates over social networking sites?

Do you know what has been said over Twitter?
If not, please refrain from spreading elaborate nonsense about emotional trauma and all that.
Some people just fly completely off the handle with very little provocation.
So you know exactly what was said over twitter and you think it wasn't a big deal?
Don't know about you guys, but the first thing I was taught in my shitty neck of the woods is to never break up a fight... seemed like the general consensus last time I checked. No, but it's still sick that the person was like "yeah, you're gona beat her ass! let me film it!" Bunch of scumbags.
No use weeping for someone who invited HAMMERTIME by beating down other people.

I find your speculation extremely implausible.
you don't stomp somebody out then throw them off their own porch without some sort emotional traumawe have a very basic idea based on the 'fake as fuck' comment. maybe something about her behaviour? her attitude or something along those lines.
doesn't sound very much like any bullying went on and i doubt there was any emotional trauma.
No. I don't claim to know what has been said here.
All I know is that harsh words over twitter don't ever justify going berserk on another human being like this.
you don't stomp somebody out then throw them off their own porch without some sort emotional trauma
So you don't see "talking shit" as a form of bullying? What world did you grow up in?
I agree 100%. Fucking trash is what she is.
Anytime I see someone lay into another person like that I immediately think they have some kind of mental issues. There is nothing said over Twitter that should cause someone to fly off the handle like that. (I'd love to be corrected on this) Oh and the person filming is a scumbag too.
So you don't see "talking shit" as a form of bullying? What world did you grow up in?
I don't know I can come up with some pretty vile shit in less than 140 characters.
"Your sister deserved to get raped."
Just sayin' dude.

i doubt it was from being bullied or anything like that though...
still, i'm somewhat amused by GAF's willingness to delve into the logic and morals behind a worldstarhiphop beatdown clip.
Isn't it a tad ironic that you are trying bring good morals to this discussion?
now you're just talking out your ass... like uninspired crazy is just rampant in the streets.Uhh, violent people do this all the time without suffering from emotional trauma first.
meetmesomewhereIf we're to delve further down the route we're going, given the "fake as fuck" comments, it could've been something as simple as, "U fake as fuck. Come meet me @ my spot and ill prove whos real. #stopfony"
"Your sister deserved to get raped."
Just sayin' dude.

you typically watch a few asswhoopings like this in order to get to the point where you can deal one out yourself. trouble at home, shitty family situation, neighborhood, traumatic events in the past mold this stuff. most people who grow up in a happy home don't go around stomping people out.
im definitely not saying that a tweet burned 10 years of anguish into her
