Yoren was a badass and went out like a real boss. I loved how he managed to scream crazy things such as "There's men out there want to fuck your corpses!" without hamming it out.

RIP, you magnificent bastard.

Mance Rayder

fuck

thats too boss for this world

“I always hated crossbows, take too long to load!”

By that part I was cheering like a real fangirl. It broke my heart seeing him go, but I'll be damned if he didn't sell his life at a high price.

Edit:
fuck

What I am missing here?

Yet another edit: o.m.g.

I just realized they killed kids in every episode.

I guess they killed their share last season too, but this has got to be a new record for a TV show.

"Hi, I'm Mads Mikkelsen. You may remember me from such films as King Arthur or Casino Royale or Clash of the Titans." /troymcclurevoice

I agree he would make a great Mance, but he might make an even better Euron.

augh what a boring film that was. (Valhalla Rising)

Wow, Sansa is really tall :s. It's going to be [series spoiler] [SOS]
even more awkward when she has to marry Tyrion

You know, three years ago when I read the books the first time, that was the only thing that wasn't spoiled for me and because of that was the only thing that made me drop my jaw. ha

Just [series spoiler], not the other part.
The rationale here being that you shouldn't confirm that any characters are alive at any point in the series, which you're doing by including the [SoS] label. Not a huge deal, but I did want to clarify my intent. There's more discussion of this in the OP spoiler rule section.

Still can't get my head around the fact that she's Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter, not great-granddaughter.

My bigger problem with her is that I didn't think she was related to the Chaplin, but once I've learned of it I can't unsee the resemblance. Especially when it comes to eyes. I'm gonna feel weird now when she appears for the first time.

Always pictured Mance as an older bald dude with a long ass mullet (like Balon), big beard, and just thick throughout.

Yeah, it was similar for me, but now that I see him he fits the character perfectly.

really?
considering his wife and the charisma required to lead all the wildings, I pictured something almost identical to the photo of Mads

I always pictured him Stockier, but I guess he was described more slender so I could kind of see it work with Mads.

It's almost just as I pictured him as well. Although after seeing this pic all I can think of is Belmont from Castlevania: Lord of Shadows.

I thought one of the characteristics of Mance Rayder (Series spoiler, I guess)
is that he's not kingly in any way, in fact when Jon Snow first walks into his tent he mistakes another wildling for King-beyond-the-wall

Watched the episode last night. What a fantastic episode.

- Yoren = Badass confirmed. What a great way to go out.

- Poor Lommy :(

- Loved the scene between Tyrion and Cersei. Loved how they started setting up Dorne and the Martells.

- That editing in that scene between Littlefinger, Tyrion, Pycelle, and Varys was awesome. Dinklage is going to win another Emmy. At this point, even Aaron Paul isnt gonna stop him.

- The Greyjoys continue to be completely knocked out of the park. They're my favorite House and HBO is just absolutely nailing them.

- Brienne was totally perfect. Even her grunts were perfect.

Lastly, we got the best line of the entire series so far.

Tyrion "Cut off his manhood and feed it to the goats!"

Clansman "There are no goats Halfman???"

Tyrion "Well make do!"

I was celebrating 420 early last night while watching and completely lost my shit during that part. Has somebody made a gif of that yet? If not, somebody please do.

Edit: That first gif will be thrown around quite a bit in the OT, I reckon.

Anyone with the Blu Ray:

is the extra content worth it? As a reader of the books? Is there a lot of it?

I can already watch it any time on HBOGo but I also just got my first BR player and a $50 gift card to Amazon that's burning a hole in my wallet. Just want to know if it's worth it.

Hahaha what episode was this from?

It's a deleted scene from last night's ep.

Yes, it is totally worth it. Trust me, you will love it.
