While I respect the score, before the update, not as cool :D

Oh come on, keeping the likes of Ronaldo, Ozil, Benz and Higuain from getting a single shot on target? Thats more impressive than the win. Casillas stopped me from getting 3-4.

You realized I played man city right? Balo, tevez, aquero, Nasri, silva, and his stupid vpro.

Nothing, Cavani just netted the penalty that lead to our demise. :P Worst Juve of the season by far and I paid 15 euros to watch it in 3D at the cinema. With a dozen or so annoying Napoli fans behind me, screaming random stuff the whole time. To make things worse, the screen was way too fucking dark, as it always is when I go to see a 3D movie. It's fast becoming the thing I hate the most about 3D. I don't get it. Are the projectors unable to display an image that's bright enough? Would the 3D suffer if they upped the brightness? What is it?

Yurt, fade, be it in the next season, be it in 2013/2014 ... Verratti better not disappoint, because you're hyping him to the max.

I got burned with Giovinco (and yet there's still hope!), so I'm taking it slow and easy this time. Same with Pogba, if his highness decides we're worthy of his services after all.

3D is the worst gimmick this generation, it completely ruined The Avengers for me. :/

He wont

I've watched a few of their games and trust me, he's pretty special. Like, Pirlo when he was back in Brescia kind of special!

Got my tickets today for the game against Brazil this Saturday. Still find it a bit odd that Brazil refuses to play on Danish soil.

3D was good with Toy Story 3. It's the only film I've seen in 3D.

I'm sorry Arsenal fans, I know you still like him, but I don't understand why.
You don't understand why we still love Fabregas? Why wouldn't we? He done everything he could to help us win something. Played with a broken leg, played when his grandfather passed away, played countless times when injured to benefit the team. Should the fact that he wanted to move back to Barcelona and play with the best players and be a part of the best team in the world take away from everything he gave us? A player shouldn't have to throw their career away at a club to be loved by them. Cesc earned Arsenal fans love and now that he has moved on he is still loved. I really hope we get to play Barcelona next year in the Champions League because Cesc returning to the Emirates will be awesome and I would hope our fans give him the reception he deserves.

I find it unbelievable how any Arsenal fan can NOT love Fabregas. Arsenal failed Fabregas, they only have themselves to blame that the great man left. He, practically single handed, kept us in the Champions League and in the top 4 without any investment into the team while we were selling our best players around him. Seriously, any Arsenal fan begrudging Fabregas is a fucking idiot. Even after he has gone he does nothing but say positive things and even comes to the Emirates stadium to watch us play sometimes, follows us on his twitter. Leaving Arsenal after 8 years of service to join Barcelona even if you leave out how we got him, his DNA etc... is nothing to be ashamed off.

Barcelona as a team though can get stuffed. I hate them, not as much as Man City, but close.

Is anyone going to buy a Team GB football shirt? I know they don't look great, but it's not like there will be many other chances to get one.

edit: There's an away shirt as well

I'm counting on them being at least 50% off after the Olympics have died down. All the pricing is a joke at the moment.

I don't understand why we're not just bidding 20m for Kagawa, or thereabouts. It's not like he isn't worth it.

And everyone knows it's just posturing. It's very unlikely Dortmund will be haggled into a lower price. Just bid the 20 mil, sign the player, move on to the next one.

You gooners may hate us, but we don't hate you. <3 But I agree with everything else you said about Cesc.

Soo weird that it takes place in Hamburg. Did they give a reason at all?

The press release from the Danish FA states that they've been trying to arrange a friendly for some time but it hasn't been possible before due to economic reasons. Maybe they sold the game to Hamburg SV and Frank Arnesen.

£20M is a fair price. It would be so stupid for United to miss out for the sake of like £4M. That's like, half of what United paid for Bebe!

Maybe they need a special visa to get in Denmark. Or maybe they're having another friendly in Germany a couple of days after?
Yeah, probably the first thing. Denmark doesn't even participate in the Schengen agreement (or was that only temporarily?). The second thing would be pretty rude towards the Danes.

News on that (according to the reliable Kicker):
United's first bid didn't even meet the minimum requirement of 17m EURO.
Kagawa still wants to go to the EPL (not Utd. in particular) even though Real showed interest too.

Yeah, that might very well be true. The Hamburg stadium has lots of seats too. Makes sense.

Anyone familiar with the sizing of Nike football shirts? Is Medium like a 38"-40" chest?

Only cause on Soccer Triads they say small is a 40" chest which I find a bit hard to believe. But I don't know.

United's first bid is logical, you don't bid high the first time, that always happens. BUT it can be risky if Kagawa really doesn't care where he wants to go in the PL (what I don't think tbh). Chelsea or someone could come in with a high bid and United might end up paying more than the 20m.

go with small

nike shirts are made for fat cows. got a medium once and it was like a blouse

Liverpool's initial bid was 13m for Luis Suarez. Ajax wanted 30m and we settled at 23. I imagine Kagawa will go for 18-20, but it could be a long, drawn-out saga

Kagawa, if he's smart, will go to United, no matter who's in for him. He'll get so much money from advertising and merchandise in Japan if he signs for them.

What on earth makes you think that this is limited to United? People here like pretty football - Arsenal is tops for PL clubs.

Noticed this in the FA's statement on Barton:

“There are rules of conduct that should be adhered to, and such behaviour tarnishes the image of football in this country, particularly as this match was the pinnacle of the domestic season and watched by millions around the globe.”
Now he should have been banned, and was. But surely they can't say what they've said there? Seems to me that they're basically saying the profile of the match played a part in the punishment. All incidents in all games should be judged by the same criteria, surely?

Nikes jerseys are inconsistent. I have their Arsenal kits as a large and they fit well (I'm quite a buff guy) but their International kits are sized differently. My Holland 2010 WC is too big, I decided to go L again for the Euro 2012 away kit but am thinking it'll be too big. The arm sleeves are too small when I wear them at the gym anyway.

"16 Fulham 418 130 121 167 480 552 -72 511
17 Sunderland 418 112 104 202 422 606 -184 440"

So in the same amount of games, Fulham have picked up 71 more points. Those two seasons... don't think I'll ever forget them.

So now Ba may not be offered a new contract because a pay-rise after only 12 months in the game would set a dangerous precedent. Uh huh, given Tiote was offered a brand new deal after 12 months...

Whatever.
