Surely they could've put up an in-game screenshot of the helmet. That drawing makes it look ugly as fuck.

Mixed feelings on retailer exclusives. It's cool I have something fun and unique, but lame to have to choose which one, and more lame when you can't get certain ones due to location. Hopefully we can get all those somehow anyway.
The BR skin looks cool, the Spartan looks weird.
Edit: Ugh another one already? Are we going to be bombarded with these? I'm glad for Spartan skins and more personalization options, but these look odd. Glad they are the exclusives so far. The Deadeye one should be great, it puts a nice target right on their head. Heh

I was actually always unsure about using emoticons like that. It's a bad habbit I got into when texting people, because I know people who literally thought I was annoyed/being serious if I didn't include them. Guess I use them on here for the same reason. I suppose you don't ever need to worry about that though, since all you do is complain.

Gawd, retailer exclusives are raining down. I'm pre-ordering the LE at Gamestop, so I'll get whatever they have.
Hopefully they're all just cosmetic, which seems to be the case. Could be worse - they could hand out early access to specializations.

I'm not sure :/ I certainly wouldn't like to be excluded from armour. Skins and stuff I don't mind.
I know eh, such a drastic change over armor colours. Don't know how the community will handle it.
Reach pre-order stuff couldn't be unlocked in game. Wouldn't count on it.

deadeye is better looking than the other helmet IMO

I think everything will be unlockable. Some people just have to type in a code, others have to play in order to earn it.

Yes. Up here in Canada some stores are still called EB Games while newer ones are called Gamestop, but same shit.
That was not the case for Reach. Retailer or package exclusives remained exclusive.
Shortly after release no one will remember this stuff anyways.
I was meaning just to say that the way I took it was only the skin was exclusive, but the helmet will be in game for everyone.
Like Over and Ghaleon said, Reach exclusives weren't unlockable save for Recon helmet. Guess we'll see when they address this in an upcoming podcast.
The Recon helmet with the upside down antenna attachment couldn't be unlocked without having pre-order Reach though.
I think Gamestop = EB.
