Interesting interview. She did looked exhausted.
Honestly, I don't think it's an exaggeration to say Halo 4 is game of the show. The reaction how been massive outside of the Halo community.

You sure about that? i requires XBL gold but that could be so the game can connect to the internet and the Unlocks work (time based ect). Downloading 5 missions + cgi cutscene per week is a fairly large ask.

Kiki just said in the gametrailers video you require Gold.
I think the Huragok will show up, it only makes sense.

She also says, "season 1 is absolutely built into halo 4". I think XBL gold is only required so that your game can connect to the waypoint/343 servers and they can send the unlock flag to your console.
Either way its pretty confusing. If its downloaded then your going to be downloading alot of content per week if its on disc then its crazy the amount of content they packed onto that tiny disc.

Spartans can ALWAYS spawn in the vehicle bay... It's a rule of Invasion.
Yeah that's how vehicle bays are supposed to work in Invasion.
Also, these Invasion maps are the pride and joy of the Halo Wheelmen and are among the most praised Invasion maps in the community. Not everyone is going to be thrilled about every map, community made or studio made. But I can attest that these are by far the most superior community Invasion maps out there.
Iowa State's colors are cardinal and gold. The star thing looks like the Mirrors Edge logo.

Not the Engineers who are called Huragok in Forerunner, the Sharquoi. We don't know what those are.
I would definitely expect to see non-Covenant Engineers.

Well, I really have no idea what that means, because I don't know who the Halo Wheelmen are, and I don't know what "community" you speak of.
All I know is maps that allow the defending team to spawn camp your initial position with Needle Rifles aren't fun.

I'd love to see 343's interpretation of brutes.
The Wheelmen are basically the resident Invasion/BTB professionals/experts. I haven't come across any community that knows more about Invasion than these guys. And the "community" I speak of spans all Halo communities currently covered by the Cartographers. We have at least one (if not multiple) representatives in just about every pocket of every active Halo community. These were by FAR the best Invasion maps out there.
More fun than most of the awful Reach playlists.
What happened to Squad Slayer again? Although I'd rather play objective personally.

Halo Wheelmen are essentially the Invasion community. They know what they're talking about when it comes to anything Invasion/BTB.
It was in leaked footage, but not confirmed.
I can't wait to finally see how much the story connects with the main game and the overall lore.

Every piece of footage of Halo 4 from E3 has been outstanding. The sound effects are glorious. I'm actually considering planning (for the first time ever) holidays/leave from work during the release window. The thought of having to work 10-12 hours while this is sitting at home beckoning me is depressing... and it's still months away. Sigh.

Good to hear... I've never been much of a story guy (I've actually not played through all of the Reach Campaign), but Spartan Ops may actually change my mind since keeping up with "water cooler" talk is all sorts of important. lol... that all depends on how much of my life the new forge takes over.

I've actually played a bunch of Invasion games with HWM and they're one of the best squads out there. They really know what they're doing. I'll probably have time to play some of the new maps this weekend.

Yeah, the AR is a terrible weapon in multiplayer. It's like Bungie just kept trying to make more and more relevant in each game, beginning with 3 and ending in Reach, and 343 is apparently continuing that tradition. No idea why...
They really need to beef up the precision weapons and then I wouldn't have any issues with the sniper rifle remaining as powerful as it is. I hate 5 shot weapon kills. Way to many times to press a trigger for one kill and that's if you don't miss any shots. Halo is coming dangerously close to a button mashing game. My fingers are going to get tired. Not even joking lol.
Recipe for ruining halo: nerf precision weapons. beef up assault rifle. finished.

ACV is on the decline... the fact that the JP side has had several key balancing patches a full month before our release and we still haven't gotten them because of Namco Bandai has really hurt the competitive community. We are in 2 1/2 months with no patches that existed a month before we got ours. So I'm taking a break... lol.
I've actually been working on a couple map designs for Halo 4 through sketchup. I'm rough drafting one of them on Reach's Forge, but it can only do so much... lol. Maybe when I feel more confident in the design I'll showcase it on youtube for several to see. I need to work on getting that first real Mindful Cartographer video out though, but this E3 kick is distracting me... lol. I will put it out tomorrow morning for sure.

As for weapon balance, if you listen to Bravo's podcast, you'll know that you should have no trouble face-melting an AR/Storm rifle user with a BR as long as they aren't on top of you. And if they are on top of you, you made a mistake.
Kiki interview was nice, can't wait for SpOps; will probably play the crap out of it.

The problem here is that you'd lose half the regular Halo players if you put the precision weapons where I (and yourself I presume), believe they deserve to be. I would love precision weapons to dominate, and I'd love to see armor abilities just gone and forgotten about... but ultimately there are far too many players who want to roughly centre you on their screen and spray the assault rifle, followed by a desperate grenade throwing fest and then finally a whimsical attempt at a pummel finish. There are far too many players who play Reach for the ability to fly through the air and reign fire over the map, or to turn invisible and hide with a power weapon, or to run recklessly into the midst of carnage and hold the invulnerability button and hope some poor sap is close enough for grenade spam or pummeling.
I say this because I know far too many IRL who see it this way. Who feel that the difference between COD and Halo is that Halo allows them to Jetpack, and that's about it. Many of them understand the shield/headshot system and seem reasonably intelligent... but many simply see Halo/COD/etc. as shooters with very little in terms of differences.
So every time I get sprayed to death by (often multiple) Assault rifles while I was (in my opinion) outplaying my opponent(s) with good movement/strafing and good aim - I just remind myself that Halo would have far fewer regulars if it didn't allow for some scrub.
